Lan Wangji's face lit up with a radiant smile, his eyes sparkling with delight. "I am so happy, sir!" He exclaimed his voice filled with enthusiasm. He had always been a huge admirer of Wei Ying's work, and meeting him in person was a dream come true. Wei Ying chuckled, amused by Lan Wangji's eagerness. "Oh, you're my fan, I'm so happy!" he teased, playfully ruffling Lan Wangji's hair. The two shared a warm moment, basking in their mutual admiration. Wei Ying was pleased to have such a dedicated fan, and Lan Wangji was thrilled to be acknowledged by his idol.
On the other side, Xiao Xingchen burst into the movie studio, his energy infectious. He was coming in a hurry, his haste evident in his rapid breathing and flushed face. In his rush, Xiao Xingchen failed to notice Xue Yang in front of him and collided with him, sending them both tumbling to the ground. The impact was followed by a moment of stunned silence, before Xiao Xingchen quickly scrambled to his feet and offered a hasty apology. "Oh, sorry! I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed, his face red with embarrassment.
Xue Yang was the person he collided with, and as he saw Xiao Xingchen, he fell in love at first sight.Xue Yang gazed at Xiao Xingchen, his eyes filled with admiration. "Beautiful Omega," he said slowly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Xiao Xingchen's face scrunched up in confusion, his eyes narrowing in a question mark shape. "Excuse me?" he asked, unsure of what Xue Yang meant.
Xue Yang's face turned bright red as he quickly scrambled to his feet. "Nothing"
Xiao Xingchen ignored Xue Yang's strange behavior and made his way towards the movie director. "Sorry, sir, for coming late," he apologized, trying to compose himself.
Meanwhile, Xue Yang watched with a scowl on his face. "How rude he is," he muttered under his breath, making an annoying face. He couldn't believe Xiao Xingchen was ignoring him after he had just declared his admiration.
The director, oblivious to the tension between the two, smiled warmly at Xiao Xingchen. "No worries, Xiao Xingchen. We're just glad you're here now. Let's get started on the scene, shall we?"
Xiao Xingchen nodded, relieved to be focusing on something else. But he couldn't shake off the feeling that Xue Yang was still watching him, his eyes burning with an intensity that made him uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, in a picturesque landscape far from the movie studio, Jiang Cheng was on a photography trip, capturing the beauty of nature through his lens. He was completely absorbed in his work, unaware of the drama unfolding in the studio.
As he clicked away, he felt at peace, surrounded by the serenity of nature. His camera was his trusted companion, and he was lost in the thrill of the shoot. Little did he know, fate was about to bring him into the midst of a tangled web of relationships, one that would change his life forever.
As Jiang Cheng leaned forward to capture the perfect shot of the river, his leg slipped on a patch of slippery rocks. He let out a startled cry as he felt himself falling into the water.
But before he could even react, a strong hand grasped the back of his collar, pulling him up and out of the river. Jiang Cheng coughed up water, relieved to be back on dry land.
Jiang Cheng's eyes met Lan Xichen's, and he felt a jolt of surprise. "Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
As he looked into Lan Xichen's eyes, he couldn't help but notice the warmth and kindness that radiated from them. And, of course, he couldn't deny the fact that Lan Xichen was handsome, with piercing eyes and chiseled features that seemed chiseled by the gods themselves.
This was the first time they had met, and yet, Jiang Cheng felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if he had known Lan Xichen for years. He couldn't explain it, but there was something about Lan Xichen's smile that put him at ease, something that made him feel like he was home.
Lan Xichen smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're welcome" he said, his voice low and soothing. "I'm just glad I was there to help."
Jiang Cheng smiled, feeling a sense of ease wash over him. "What's your name?" he asked, his eyes locked on Lan Xichen's.
Lan Xichen's smile grew wider, and he extended his hand. "I'm Lan Xichen," he said, his voice low and smooth. "And you are...?"
Jiang Cheng took Lan Xichen's hand, feeling a spark of electricity as their palms touched. "I'm Jiang Cheng," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Lan Xichen's eyes crinkled at the corners as he shook Jiang Cheng's hand, his grip firm but gentle. "Nice to meet you, Jiang Cheng," he said, his voice dripping with charm. "
Lan Xichen's eyes sparkled with mirth as he continued to flirt with Jiang Cheng, his words dripping with charm and his smile devastatingly handsome. But Jiang Cheng, though initially taken in by Lan Xichen's charisma, soon began to feel overwhelmed by the intensity of his gaze.
Feeling a flutter in his chest, Jiang Cheng tried to compose himself, but Lan Xichen's flirting only seemed to grow more pronounced. Finally, Jiang Cheng's face flushed with embarrassment, he muttered a hasty excuse and turned to leave.
"I...I need to get back to my photography," he stuttered, his eyes avoiding Lan Xichen's gaze.
Lan Xichen's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered, his eyes never leaving Jiang Cheng's face. "Ah, of course," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I wouldn't want to keep you from your art."
Jiang Cheng nodded hastily and quickly made his way back to his camera, his heart still racing from the encounter. He couldn't believe he had just been flirted with so brazenly, and he couldn't help but wonder if he would ever be able to look at Lan Xichen the same way again.
Lan Wangji approached Xiao Xingchen with a bright smile on his face, his eyes still shining with excitement from his meeting earlier that morning.
"I want to tell you something," he said, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "I met Wei Ying this morning!"
Xiao Xingchen looked up at him, his expression unreadable. "Oh?" he said, his voice neutral.
Lan Wangji nodded, his grin growing wider. "Yes! I couldn't believe it. I've been a fan of his acting for so long, and now I finally got to meet him in person. He's even more amazing than I thought!"
Xiao Xingchen's eyes flickered, but he quickly masked his reaction. "That's great," he said, his voice flat.
Lan Wangji didn't notice Xiao Xingchen's subtle response, too caught up in reliving his exciting morning. "I know, right? I'm still on cloud nine. I can't stop thinking about our conversation and how inspiring he is!"
As he gazed at Xiao Xingchen, he noticed a faint hint of distress in his eyes. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, his concern piqued. "What happened to you?"
Xiao Xingchen's mask slipped back into place. "Nothing," he replied, his voice firm.
Lan Wangji's eyes lingered on Xiao Xingchen's face, but he couldn't pry any further information out of him. He shrugged it off, assuming Xiao Xingchen was just having a bad day.
