8. Scary-ass place

i dont know what or why im here, and yet i am...and the worst part is, since it suddenly started to rain, we decided to come inside the church!!

I know how scary and stupid this is, and its all Asher fucking Harrison's damn fault! we all are sitting on the cold ass floor, and i hate it! what more i hate is that, half across the church there is this Mother Mary's scary-looking statue, that feels like its staring at me!! i gulps and looks away.

God i hate this, hate everything! Hate Asher Harrison!!

"you cold?" Asher's voice cuts through the silence as he takes a seat next to me 

"im fine" i frowns looking away. Sure im cold, but i would never in hell would admit that to this idiot. 

Me and Asher is currently alone since Aiden decided to catch some signal bars to his phone so he can call someone to pick us up..

I caresses my arms to keeps myself warm, but seemingly seeing it doesnt work, i stops, my hands gripping my arms as i let out a frustrated sigh. i should have just gone to school...this is soo worse than i thought it would be!! ugh!!

"you still mad at me?" he ask wondering as he glance around the insides of the church 

"Stumbles and falls face flat on the floor, and again stumbles and falls butt flat on the floor and a dead guy out of nowhere fall on to me, i almost had a panic attack...so no...im very happy" I says sarcastically with a glares and a eye roll as i grip my arms tighter

Asher chuckles at that and smirks

"im serious though~" Asher leans closer and our shoulders touches. I shoots him a frown 

"...im mad...at you...there, happy?" I murmurs as i looks away

cant i just punch and beat the shit out of him?!?

no, i cant. Aiden will do the same to me if i do it...

Asher's smirk widen, and the next thing i knew was him wrapping his jacket over me. 

What the-...

did he just...

Is he okay?!?

"what are you-" I raise my brow 

"your cold Lil Kai, have it" Asher smirks as he gets up, dusting off his clothes 

"did Asher Harrison just gave me his jacket to keep me out of the cold?" I smirks. this is a first, like literally. 

"dont want your brother to go and beat me up if i dont take care of you" Asher grins

"yeah right" i scoffs as i rests my head on the wall behind me. i hate to admit this but Asher's jacket does feel warm and cozy against me...and i like it... and its wired enough that i like that it smells like him too...

"im going to go and look for Aiden...hes taking too long to catch those signal bars" he says

My eyes widen...Is he going to leave me alone in this scary-ass place?! no way in hell Asher your getting rid of me that easily. 

i quickly stands up and walks closer to him. Asher tilts his head to the side with a raised eyebrow, then he smirks  

"is lil Kai scared~?" Asher's smirk widen

how i wish to punch that stupid smirk off

I rolls my eyes and gives him a knowing look. 

"me? scared? pfft. get your eyes checked. im coming cause its my brother were talking about" i says with and eye roll. how could he think im scared-

....fuck him

Asher chuckles and shakes his head in amusement 

"yeah, alright...you screaming twice today does not count as you being scared. at all." He says sarcastically and smirks as he starts to walk further inside the church with me following him.

Few moments pass as we walk on the slightly dark and cold hallway of the church, and the pictures of different nuns and mother Mary on the walls are not helping me at all. i mean, who in their right mind would just hang up pictures of nuns and mother Mary's on the freaking wall??

least of my questions. 

I sighs as i walk closer to Asher, not because im scared, hell...okay fine, maybe i am. im not a fan of horror or gothic plain ass shit at all, and all the more reason why i hate Asher Ashford because he used to scare me every Halloween in the past. 

"AIDEN!!!" Asher suddenly calls out to my dumb ass brother and i flinched.

I smacks his head which made him groan and frown at me

"dont scream idiot" i says

"scared Lil Kai?" He smirks

"how cute, but no i wont listen to you" 

I frowns at him

"just keep quiet damnit" i know im being overdramatic right now, but i cant help it. what if some dark entity swallows us like in the movies? what if The Nun is real?? im too young to die yet, and especially with a bastard like him next to me.

Asher sigh and runs a hand through his chocolate curl hair...-wow...SANP out of it Skyler!- I shakes my head and sighs

"listen...we need to find Aiden, and if i dont call out for him in this big ass church, we'll never find him" he says

I know he's right and im also worried about Aiden, i mean, hes my brother for whatever reason right?

"urgh....fine..." I reluctantly agrees...

Then we started to scream for his name with hopes of finding that stupid idiot who left to get fucking signal bars...
