"Mate!" Cindy yelled.
I frowned to myself. "What are you... oh..." I slowly looked up and saw my mate staring down at me with those compelling grey eyes.
"H..." I started.
His cold grey eyes were staring deep into my soul. "You're in my seat..."
Don't let him intimidate you with those eyes Mia.
But I couldn't, he was freaking beautiful. His stormy grey eyes sent me in heat wave. His black wavy hair fell across his forehead and his square jaw clenched. His delicious muscles bunched under his shirt.
I looked around the chair and desk. "Hmm..."
"What are you doing?" His deep voice brought me back from looking around.
My eyes flickered up to look in his; he was already staring at me. "I don't see your name."
Whoa... where the hell did that confidence just come from?
He dropped his stuff on the floor in front of the desk I was in, making me jump a little. "Get up..." He placed both of those muscular arms on each side of the desk leaning in closer to me. His eyes never leaving mine. "Before I get up..." His minty breath blew on my face. He was so close to my face, if I were to move in more, we'd be kissing by now.
I bit my lip shaking my head. "No..."
His eyes flickered to my lips as I pull my bottom lip from my teeth. He closed his eyes, the muscle in his jaw jumped.
He was so beautiful...
I don't understand how he could be such a mean ass.
All of a sudden, hands wrapped around my waist. "What the... what ar..." He picked me up and sat me in the chair in front of the desk I was just sitting in. "You did not just pick me up an..."
"But I did..." He put all of my things on the desk, grabbed his stuff from the floor and sat down.
I turned away from him and huffed, crossing my arms over my chest.
Real mature Mia, real mature.
The rest of students made their way in looking back at me as if I was crazy.
Hell, even the teacher came in and looked back at me confused. "New student I see." He pushed his glasses back from his nose and sat behind his desk. Looking up from his computer. "Why don't you come up and introduce yourself to the class."
Hell no.
I get nervous around a lot of people... mainly when I'm the center of attention.
I freeze up wishing that the floor would open up and swallow me whole.
No joke, I've had panic attacks when my dad would make me go to the large meetings to speak.
I've even had some doubts about becoming Luna; I just don't feel comfortable around people I didn't know.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to become Luna, but I just didn't see myself attending all meetings.
It was like stage fright I guess...
I uncrossed my arms and put my phone in my bag. "I rather not..."
I felt eyes burning a hole in the back of my head
I had this strong urge to turn around.
He frowned. "Oh come on... I'll go first. My name is Hatcher Newman, I teac..."
I shook my head. "I don't do well with... crowds sir."
"Just state your name and three facts about yourself." He sighed. The whole class now looking at me.
