Hello all, I literally don't know how to begin to say this. Or rather type this. But it's been a while.
I'm not new to Wattpad. Trust me on that. And I'm most definitely not new to the pen. I've wrote For Seth way back in secondary school, almost three years ago, with my sisters, friends and family. Had it on Wattpad till I had a depressive episode where I deleted it along with six other books.
I tell you this why? Well, to assure any old reader that my intellectual property has not been stolen. But rather ready to go out again. I love writing. Writing has been nothing but a relief for me, it has provided me nothing but friends, an audience to hear my voice and a reprieve from talking to myself a lot. Lol.
So, without further ado. I present you a book most definitely not edited properly. Yet. Because I don't want to be silent anymore. Because I don't want to keep these stories in anymore. Because I have a voice, that has once been heard and will continue to be heard.
I'll let you go on with a disclaimer. I haven't edited this book in the last three years, its in need of work. I'm only publishing it now on Wattpad because I'm excited, its been so long and well just can't wait anymore. So, remember this:
1. The characters are in need of work especially when it comes to the family dynamics of the Egyptian gods. In this book, Set is the twin brother of Horus, whom in the myth is Horus's uncle, Osiris as his actual twin. But in this book Osiris is the father of the duo (I may or may not edit this dynamic properly).
2. The timelines in this book also needs work. I'm not sure of what language what presiding during these times, because in my manuscript I wrote the dialogues of Set or any Egyptian rather in English backwards.
3. I wrote in my manuscript. Set as Seth. So just in case it appears so. Bear with me.
4. In my manuscript and possibly in this book, I interchanged the names Chloe and Masika (you'll know why). But I most definitely hope you (and I) will understand where and when each name applies.
5. This book contains mature scenes. So viewers discretion is most definitely advised. But I will try to highlight when such themes come in.
6. Like I said, I'm writing this in a spur of emotions. I'm excited. So if anything isn't up to par, I'll check it. And if it isn't still with you, please do help by notifying me.
So, welcome to Egypt, and the very sands that has shaped time itself.
A story of who belonged to who.
