Best Enemies Forever || HYUNLIX

Chapter 1: Felix

The golden rays of the sun instantly hit Felix like a chord. He slowly opens his eyes, rubbing them and looking around to see Ni-ki standing there with the Are-You-Kidding-Me look.

(Note: Niki is Felix's younger brother in this story)

Felix was surprised to see that Ni-ki has woken up earlier than him since he always woke up earlier,
  "Gosh, Hyung, wake up! It's 6 in the morning and college starts in 1 hour!"
Niki says, looking up at the roof and face-palming. Felix thinks for a few moment, looking at Niki and then laying back on the bed,
  "5 more minutes please,"
Felix says, closing his eyes to sleep again and Ni-ki had enough. He switched off the coolers, opened the blinds and he was ready to bring in a knife next,
  "Okay, okay, I'll wake up,"
Felix says, getting up into a sitting position. His hair was messy but looked pretty cute. Felix looks at Ni-ki who still looked annoyed and he signals him to come closer. Niki was hesitant but goes towards Felix. Felix pauses and smirks, he starts ruffling Ni-ki's hair,
  "My little brother, Ni-ki. Gosh, look at how cute you are~ waking up before me, huh?"
Felix teases Niki and the younger starts chuckling, feeling embarrassed,
  "Okay, okay, get up now, we'll be late, Hyung!"
Niki urges Felix and he just nods while chuckling, getting out of the bed. As Ni-ki left the room, Felix took his phone out and texted his online best-friend, "Good morning," he smiles as he read that his best friend texted him back. He sighs and gets up, ready to start another day of college,

After Felix freshened up, he wore a pair of baggy black pants and a darkish-blue hoodie, it was over-sized but felt comfortable. Felix combed his hair, put on his cologne and just did his skin-care routine for a few minutes before going downstairs.

(The look)

He sees Ni-ki waiting for him and when Ni-ki spotted Felix, he couldn't take his eyes off of him. His older brother, Felix, looked really good-looking and Niki chuckled,
  "Yah, look at you, my older brother~ you will get all the girls to drool behind you,"
Ni-ki teases him and Felix obviously flushed. He chuckles and hits Ni-ki playfully,
  "Let's get going, love,"
Niki said, he didn't stop teasing Felix. They took their bags and went outside. Their college wasn't too far away from their home so they could just walk, it will take them about 15 to 20 minutes. Ni-ki couldn't stop staring at Felix because he found him attractive but this doesn't go unnoticed by Felix,
  "Look forward, Niki,"
Felix says and Ni-ki gets alerted, embarrassed. He looks forward and just continued walking beside him, on their way to school. As minutes pass by with total silence, Ni-ki decides to strike a conversation,
  "Have you heard about the new transfer student? He has shifted to our neighborhood, I spoke with him yesterday,"
Niki says and Felix gets intrigued about the new transfer. He asks about his name and Ni-ki tries to remember,
  "Uhm... I think- it was... Hyunjin..? He looked intimidating but he was actually quite friendly. I was pretty surprised,"
Ni-ki says and Felix raises an eyebrow, more curious about him now. He felt like he heard the name before,
  "Really... I would like to meet him now, tell me more about him,"
He asks, smirking slightly as Ni-ki tries to remember the entire encounter.

(FLASHBACK)
NI-KI'S POV

I was taking a walk around my neighborhood and felt the presence of someone approaching me. I turned around and got slightly startled to see a handsome man with a black mask approach me. The boy chuckles and looks at me into my eyes,
  "Didn't mean to startle you there. I just need your help with something,"
The handsome guy says and I felt nervous. I gulped and just nodded,
  "Great, I'm new in this neighborhood and I've just moved in. Can you please show me around if you could?"
The boy asks me and I was hesitant at first but I didn't have anything to do so I just nodded. The boy chuckles and and I smile back at him,
  "I'll show you around, come on,"
I said as the boy went towards my side. We walk side-by-side and I show him around the neighborhood, talking about the main highlights of the place, what I do, what I like and all. I ask him a question few minutes later,
  "So, what's your name?"
I ask the boy and glance up at his pretty face (In this story, let's imagine Hyunjin is taller than Niki),
  "I'm Hwang Hyunjin, nice to meet you. What about you?"
The boy says, asking me about my name and I got alerted. I was stammering but slowly became more comfortable around him,
  "Y-yeah, My name is... Ni-ki, n-nice to meet you too,"
I stammered accidentally and he raised an eyebrow, thinking I'm feeling uncomfortable,
  "You don't need to be awkward around me, just think as if we're close friends, okay? So... Ni-ki, do you live alone?"
Hyunjin asks me and of course I was hesitant at first but I answered him,
  "I live with my older brother, Felix..."
I said and Hyunjin got curious, he found that name familiar,
("Is it... Lee Felix?")
Hyunjin thought, with a curious but smug expression, which doesn't go unnoticed by Ni-ki,
  "Are you curious about my older brother?"
I ask him and he got alerted. He was thinking for a few moments but then answered,
  "Is his name... Lee Felix?"
The boy asks and I got surprised how he knows about my older brother. At first, I thought I shouldn't trust him or anything so I reluctantly shook my head no and the boy just nodded, he seemed mildly angry,
  "I see... Well, it was nice speaking with you, Ni-ki,"
He said and I smile at him, a bit shyly but glad,
  "Thank you, it was nice speaking with you too, Hyunjin,"
I said as he waves bye towards me and part ways..

(END OF FLASHBACK)

Felix nodded as Niki tells him about the whole encounter,
  "So it actually was Hyunjin..."
Felix said to himself and Ni-ki thought he heard something,
  "Huh?"
  "Nothing, nothing,"
Felix said, chuckling nervously and Ni-ki got a bit suspicious. He just decides to ignore it and the conversation goes on and on, until they reached school. They realised that they reached late by 10 minutes and for Niki, his first class was the English period and they both knew how strict Mr. Johnson was even if someone came 1 minute late, Niki swore under his breath,
  "What do I do now!"
Niki asks Felix, getting tenser and tenser, Felix pats Ni-ki's back,
  "Don't worry, I'll take care of Mr. Johnson, okay?"
Felix says, trying to calm down Ni-ki but that just made him more confused
  "How the hell can you do that, hyung!"
  "I have my ways, come to class now,"
Felix said, chuckling as he brings Niki to class. They reached class and Felix looked inside the classroom, seeing that Mr. Johnson noticed him,
  "Ni-ki, why are you late!"
The teacher asks while yelling which made the whole class scared and curious to see what Ni-ki's older brother will do next,
  "Teacher, don't yell at him. Mrs. Andrea asked Ni-ki to carry some books to her class,"
Felix responds confidently and Mr. Johnson shushed down. Felix knew that Mr. Johnson was scared of his wife, Mrs. Andrea who would be 10x angrier than Mr. Johnson if he did something wrong and she was nicer with students. The teacher just glared at Ni-ki and Felix,
  "Niki, Go sit down,"
Ni-ki's eyes sparkled with happiness as he entered his class, taking his seat. He shot a grateful smile back at Felix who smiles back and winks,
  "Thank you, I'll take my leave now, teacher,"
Felix said, looking back at him and the teacher just nods. Felix leaves the classroom and chuckles to himself, feeling proud to help his younger brother but then he realised something. He was late for his own class! He swore under his breath and started running towards his classroom.
