After the incident at the USJ, students of Class 1-A were given two days off. Of course, (Y/n) had nothing to do but train, so that's what she did for the two days. She had to admit, it was relaxing being away from the multiple headaches in her classroom.
Now, all the students were situated in the classroom talking to each other. The conversations were mostly about what happened at the USJ and the news. However, the conversation in the back left corner was quite different.
“C’mon! Just give me your number!” A certain yellow-haired boy whined. (Y/n) simply ignored him, instead focusing on the tune playing in her headphones. For the previous five minutes, Kaminari had been pestering the girl for her contact information.
Kirishima, Kaminari’s newly found best friend, walked up and placed a hand on Kaminari’s shoulder. “Maybe you should leave (Y/n) alone, it looks like she doesn't want anyone bothering her.” He points to her connected headphones.
The boy glanced back at his red-head friend, then at (Y/n). Ignoring Kirishima's words, he continued on, “I just want your number, it won't hurt you to give me it! Please?”
“Kaminari! Kirishima! Please take your seats and stop talking! Homeroom is about to start!” Iida yelled, chopping his hand up and down. Kirishima had to pull the grumbling Kaminari away from the girl and to their seats. Iida sat in his seat as well, his back in a straight line.
(Y/n) took her headphones off, disconnecting it from her phone and placing both electronics in her bag. The homeroom door slid open, shocking almost all the students from the sight in front of them.
Aizawa, who had been seriously injured in the fight at USJ, was standing in the doorway with bandages covering his whole face and arms. As all the students were yelling, he silently walked up to the podium.
“So, you're all right, Mr. Aizawa?” Iida questioned, his hand raised in the air. Uraraka has mumbled something, shock written on her face.
“My well-being doesn't matter. More importantly, the fight is not over yet.” Aizawa spoke.
Whispers traveled the room. While some whispers were questions, others were filled with fear. Through little slits on the bandages where his eyes are, Aizawa narrowed his eyes at the class. “The UA Sports Festival is drawing near.
“That's a super normal school event!” The class shouted in unison aside from a few who stayed silent.
“Wait a minute!” Jirou spoke up, silencing the class. “Is it okay to have a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?” She quizzed, putting down a good point.
Ojiro, who was seated just across Jirou, agreed. “Yeah, what if they attack again or something?”
“Apparently, they think of it as UA showing that our crisis management system is solid as a rock by holding the event. In other words, we're showing that we're not scared of some villain attack. Security will also be strengthened five times of the previous year.” Aizawa responded.
He kept informing the students, “Above all, our sports festival is a huge chance at being recognized as future heroes. It's not an event to be canceled just by a few villains. Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events.”
The Pro-Hero continued to talk about the sports festival. About how it's bigger than the Olympics, how you can get scouted by Heroes, and more. Student comments were also tossed around the classroom. After Aizawa's small lesson, he dismissed the homeroom.
Many classes later, including History and two others, it was finally lunch time. Everyone was focused on talking about the upcoming Sports Festival.
(Y/n) had to admit, such a big event which will determine how her hero career will go was a bit nerve-wracking. She ignored everyone's conversations as she quietly walked out of the classroom.
