Midoriya advanced towards the white line in a trance. Shinso's quick was set on him, which once he was given a command, he would abide by it.

The outcome of this match was already decided; Shinso Hitoshi would be victorious.

Every step Midoriya took echoed through the stadium, having everyone at the edge of their seats. (Y/n) quietly sat back in her chair, her shoulders drooping.

The green-haired boy made it to the last few steps. Just around two movements and he would be out of the competition. Suddenly, two fingers in his left hand started glowing with lighting.

Before anyone could process anything, Midoriya thrust is hand backwards, sending a gust of wind behind him. Taking the time he had while Shinso was shocked, he started catching his breath.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened a fraction as she saw Midoriya counter-attack. The female hadn't expected him to break out of Shinso's quirk. After all, according to Shinso, you had to get a certain force to hit you to be knocked out of the trance.

The crowd was sent into loud roaring, some of (Y/n)'s classmates being the loudest out of the whole stadium. Shinso began yelling at the boy, which he covered his mouth in order not to answer.

Midoriya's fingers were clearly broken, being all purple. With every yell, Midoriya kept dashing towards Shinso. Even with broken fingers, the boy pushed Shinso back.

Shinso punched Midoriya right in the face, with the male taking it without a care. Shinso neared the out of bounds line, now panicking.

The boy hit Midoriya right on his broken fingers and switched the rolls. Now, Shinso was pushing Midoriya towards the line. In the end, Midoriya threw Shinso over his shoulder and out of bounds.

Midnight threw her hand up, "Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advanced to round two!" The crowd went wild, yelling.

"Hey, Midoriya did that over the shoulder thing to you, didn't he?" Kaminari looked at Bakugou.

"Shut it, Dunce Face." Bakugou scoffed, clearly irritated.

(Y/n) stood up from her seat, "Huh? Where are you going, (Y/n)?" Uraraka questioned, looking up at the said female. Giving her no time to respond, the girl said, "I'll go with you!"

The (h/c)-haired girl simply nodded and started walking out of the stands with Uraraka following behind her. "You're going to check on Midoriya, right?" (Y/n) asked.

Uraraka's face flushed, "W-Well, yes, but I also wanted to go with you! I mean—!" Her cheeks became darker.

"I understand." (Y/n) glanced to the side, avoiding eye contact. A fluff of purple hair flashed by her view. "Go on without me, Uraraka."

"Huh?" She mumbled, her blush cooling down. "Okay." Uraraka sped up, walking over to the nurse's room.

"Shinso." (Y/n) called out, making the said boy stop in his tracks.

He looked at the ground, unable to meet her eyes. "That was an embarrassing match, huh?" He placed a hand on his neck, "I thought I was going to win."

"...I don't care if you didn't win." Shinso's eyes widened slightly as his head snapped up to meet her gaze. "Even if you didn't win, you still had a...good fight." Her voice dimed down as she gave a compliment.
