Chapter Twelve

"It's been four days. Don't you think those three are going to be upset" Calix mumbled. His chin was resting on top of Tao's head and his arms were wrapped tightly around him. Tao hummed. He had been trying to figure out a way to convince Calix to give the others a chance and vice versa. So far the things Calix had told him about the seven's bond were disheartening. Out of everyone here Calix seemed to have had the toughest time. The bond made them naturally attracted to each other and that usually resulted in sex.

Asmodeus thought indulging in that would make it difficult for Calix to control his sin. Therefore, his solution was to cut down their intimacy until it got to a point where even a hug felt awkward. The only time anything happened between them was when Calix's sin got out of hand. Intimacy became a chore and they began to drift apart. Aslan would blatantly fault Calix for the distance between them. The others, though they never said it out loud or to his face, treated him like it was his fault. He was always criticized for his words, jokes, actions or anything at all until he decided he'd stop trying to appease them.

Jule's reaction a few days ago only made things worse and gave Tao a clear example of what Calix had been enduring for most of the time he was bonded to the others. "They might be, but they also have to know it's not okay to treat you the way they do" Tao  said with a sigh. Calix said nothing but squeezed him closer. Tao looked up and their lips met. Tao had been helping Calix handle the pain from neglecting his sin all this time. They had not gone all the way but Calix got as much relief from giving as he got from taking. He explained that his sin just wanted pleasure, whether that was from receiving or simply giving someone else pleasure, hence Tao being introduced to Calix's skilled fingers.

"You still want me to give them another chance" Calix said after they pulled away. It was not a question. Tao had made his wishes very apparent. All they got was one more chance then Calix would not have to deal with them ever again if they screwed up. Calix sighed heavily and rolled his eyes. "I hate that you've so easily wormed your way into my chest cavity. I get fucking butterflies every time you smile cause of me" Calix whined dramatically. He rolled on top of Tao who giggled at the action until his voice morphed into a moan when Calix rolled his hips into him. "You have a good heart Tao. Quite literally our little angel" Calix said softly into Tao's neck before kissing it.

"Y-You can't call me an angel whilst grinding against me like that. Dammit Calix" Tao panted as Calix's hips picked up speed. Their lips found each other again and their movements became more desperate. Calix's sin allowed him to make anyone he touched ten times more sensitive. It was Tao's undoing and he did not mind one bit. "C-Calix please" Tao moaned. Calix smiled into Tao's neck that he'd been abusing. He loved it when Tao moaned his name. An ache struck him at the thought of the others somehow convincing Tao that this was wrong, that he should keep his distance. Calix was so afraid of being pushed aside by yet another mate.

"You know, one of the more dangerous effects of my sin is that I can make people want me so badly that they'd die for me. It's not love. Maybe infatuation. Obsession perhaps. However, all I'd need to do is speak a word as you climax and you'd never be able to live without me" Calix said. He had stopped moving and stared at Tao in the eye. Tao's eyes widened. The question was obvious in his eyes. Would Calix use it on him?

"I thought of using it on the others when they started pushing me away but I don't want a fake imitation of a bond. I want them to really want me. I would never use it on you. You deserve something real. You deserve something better than me" Calix smiled at Tao.

"You think too highly of me Cal. I want you. For real" Tao said quietly before pulling Calix back down and into the kiss. Calix began to move again and used his ability to make Tao's nerve endings overly sensitive. Tao moaned louder as the pleasure built in his center. Calix muffled the sounds with kisses here and there. "Cum for me Tao. I need to see you cum" Calix encouraged breathlessly.
