"Wake up, Seonghwa," Samara's voice cut through the dimly lit room, pulling Seonghwa from his troubled sleep. He blinked, his eyes widening in concern as he saw Mingi passed out nearby.

"What did you do?" he asked, his voice sharp with worry.

Samara rolled her eyes, dismissing his concern with a wave of her hand. "A little sleeping eel's saliva never killed anyone," she explained nonchalantly.

Seonghwa cringed at the thought, glancing at Mingi to ensure he was still breathing. "Small talk aside, we need to go. Now," Samara urged, her tone urgent and determined.

Seonghwa stepped out of the aquarium, water dripping from his form as he reached for the shirt hanging nearby. He pulled it over his head, the fabric clinging to his damp skin.

"So this is it i guess" He sighed, a little sadly for Samara's liking

She frowned, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "Wake up, prince. You don't have time for meaningless humans," she chided, her voice sharp with impatience.

Seonghwa looked at her, his eyes reflecting a mixture of sorrow and determination. "It's not that simple, Samara."

Samara pulled him with her, her grip firm and impatient. "Let's go," she urged, tugging on his wrist. Without another word, she stripped off the human shirt she wore and dived into the water, the powers from her ancient necklace shimmering as she transformed.

Seonghwa hesitated for a brief moment, his eyes lingering on the ship. He felt like he was leaving a part of himself behind. With a heavy sigh, he dived in after her, his movements fluid and graceful as he followed her into the depths. The water embraced him, but his heart ached with the weight of unfinished goodbyes.

He didn't even have a chance to say goodbye to Wooyoung and San. The thought gnawed at him, making the ocean feel colder and more unwelcoming than ever before.

"If you want to save that little pirate captain, we'll have to sneak into your mother's quarters and ask her to hide your memories," Samara said as they dived deeper into the ocean, the water growing darker around them.

"That's possible?" Seonghwa asked in surprise, his eyes wide as he kept pace with her.

"Not knowing how much power your own mother holds is embarrassing, Seonghwa," Samara replied her tone a mix of exasperation and affection. She glanced back at him, her eyes reflecting the bioluminescent glow of the underwater plants. "She's the Queen of the Southern Seas for a reason. She can do more than you realize."

Seonghwa's mind raced with the implications. If his mother could truly hide his memories, it might be the only way to protect Hongjoong.

"Will my memories also be removed?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

"They'll be hidden," Samara explained, her tone firm but gentle. "Unless you see him again, then they'll resurface. So yes, you will forget him."

The thought of forgetting Hongjoong, of erasing every moment they had shared, felt like a heavy weight on Seonghwa's chest, he didn't love him, obviously but the kindness the captain shared felt impossible to forget. He glanced back toward the ship's direction, the image of Hongjoong's intense gaze and the warmth of his touch lingering in his mind.
