the midnight I met him part 7

   (Yuna and Haneul stand in the doorway, their eyes wide with surprise)

Yuna: (excitedly) "Haru! Joonoh! What's going on here?"

Haneul: (equally surprised) "Yeah, we thought you two were just friends!"

Haru: (laughing) "We are just friends! What made you think otherwise?"

Yuna: (sheepishly) "Well, you were laughing and smiling, and we just assumed..."

Haneul: (teasingly) "Yeah, we thought we'd stumbled upon a secret romance!"

Joonoh: (still looking serious, with a hint of coldness) "We're just working on a project together. That's all."

Haru: (smiling) "Yeah, we're just study buddies. No romance here!"

Yuna: (embarrassed) "Oh, dear. We feel a bit silly now..."

Haneul: (laughing) "Yeah, I guess we jumped to conclusions!"

Joonoh: (still distant) "It's fine. Like Haru said, we're just friends."

Haru: (trying to lighten the mood) "Hey, let's grab some snacks and study together! The more, the merrier!"

Yuna: (smiling) "Sounds like a plan!"

Haneul: (laughing) "Yeah, and no more assumptions, right?"

Joonoh: (slightly softening) "Right."

(The group heads to the kitchen, with Joonoh still looking a bit reserved, but Haru's enthusiasm and the others' friendly banter help to ease the tension)
      
   After Yuna and Haneul surprised Haru and Joonoh at Joonoh's house, they all decided to go to the party together. The scene jumped forward in time, and I didn't show the transition.
After the surprise at Joonoh's house, Yuna exclaims, "Hey, we're all dressed up! Let's go to my cousin's party!"

Haneul nods enthusiastically. "Yes, let's go!"

Haru and Joonoh exchange a look, then shrug. "Why not?" Haru says with a grin.

Joonoh nods, and they all head out together, ending up at the party.
      
     As they enter the party, the music and laughter envelop them. Yuna and Haneul lead the way, with Haru and Joonoh following close behind.

Suddenly, Yuna stops in her tracks, her eyes fixed on something across the room. "Oh my gosh, look!" she exclaims.

Haneul follows her gaze, and her eyes widen in surprise. "No way!"

Haru and Joonoh exchange a curious glance, wondering what's caught their friends'

        Yuna's eyes are fixed on a tall, handsome guy across the room, who's smiling at Haru. "Oh my gosh, look! It's Minsoo! He's so cute!"

Haneul nods enthusiastically. "I know, right? I've heard he's really nice too."

Haru's face flushes slightly as Minsoo approaches them. "Hey, Haru! Long time no see!"

Joonoh's expression turns slightly cold, his eyes narrowing as he watches Minsoo and Haru interact.

It becomes clear that Minsoo has a romantic interest in Haru, which makes Joonoh uncomfortable. The atmosphere shifts, and the group's dynamics become more.

     Joonoh's eyes narrow as he watches Minsoo chat with Haru, his mind racing with unexpected emotions. He feels a twinge of jealousy, which surprises him. Why is he reacting this way? He's always been supportive of Haru's relationships, but something about Minsoo rubs him the wrong way.

As he observes Minsoo's charming smile and effortless charm, Joonoh's thoughts turn to his own feelings for Haru. He's always valued their friendship, but lately, he's started to realize there might be something more beneath the surface.

Joonoh's eyes flicker to Haru, who's laughing at something Minsoo said. A pang of possessiveness hits him, and he looks away, trying to shake off the feeling. What's happening to him? He's never felt this way before.
      
      Joonoh's  inner jealousy simmers as he watches Minsoo and Haru together. He tries to brush it off, telling himself he's just being protective of his friend. But the feeling lingers, refusing to be ignored.

Just then, Minsoo suggests they all dance together. Haru agrees, and they head to the dance floor. Joonoh follows, his eyes fixed on the pair.

As they dance, Minsoo moves closer to Haru, their bodies swaying in sync. Joonoh's jealousy boils over, and he excuses himself, needing some fresh air.

Outside, he takes a deep breath, trying to calm down. But his mind races with thoughts of Haru and Minsoo together.

Suddenly, he hears a voice behind him. "Hey, Joonoh, what's wrong?"

It's Haneul, concern etched on his face

      Joonoh shrugs, trying to play it cool. "Nothing, just needed some fresh air."

Yuna raises an eyebrow. "You sure? You seemed pretty upset in there."

Joonoh forces a smile. "I'm fine, really."

Just then, a commotion breaks out inside the party. Shouting and laughter erupt, followed by the sound of shattering glass.

Yuna's eyes widen. "What's going on?"

Joonoh's curiosity gets the better of him. "Let's go find out."

They rush back inside, where they find Haru and Minsoo in the center of the chaos. It appears they accidentally broke a vase while dancing, and now they're laughing and trying to clean up the mess.

But then, Minsoo's eyes lock onto Joonoh, and a challenging glint appears in his gaze. "Hey, Joonoh, looks like your friend Haru is quite the wild card. You should keep a closer eye on him."

Joonoh's instincts bristle at Minsoo's tone, and he feels a surge of protectiveness towards Haru.

        Joonoh takes a deep breath and decides to keep the peace, not wanting to ruin the party atmosphere. "Accidents happen, no big deal," he says with a shrug.

But Minsoo's gaze lingers, and Joonoh senses a underlying tension. He tries to brush it off and joins in the cleanup efforts.

Just then, Yuna's cousin announces a surprise performance by a popular K-pop group. The party erupts in cheers and screams as the group takes the stage.

But amidst the excitement, Joonoh notices Minsoo slipping out of the room, his eyes fixed on Haru with an intense gaze. A sudden unease creeps over Joonoh, and he feels compelled to follow Minsoo.

As he tails Minsoo, they lead him to a secluded area outside the party. And that's when Joonoh overhears a shocking revelation...

        Minsoo grabs the microphone from the  K-pop group's lead singer and turns to Haru. "Haru, I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy. Will you marry me?" he asks, his voice echoing through the venue.

The crowd gasps in surprise, and all eyes turn to Haru. Joonoh's heart sinks, feeling like he's been punched in the gut.

Haru's face turns bright red as they stare at Minsoo in disbelief. "M-Minsoo, what are you doing?!" they stutter.

The crowd starts cheering and chanting "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" as Minsoo pulls out a small box containing a diamond ring.
