The only discernible sound was the resonating clack of her heels against the floor. She appeared to be quite in a rush.

Litai Elsher walked into the classroom of Will. "Tai, it's good to see you. You left your purse here," he said upon observing her presence. He seemed to be the only person present at that moment.

"Yes, I am aware of that, which is why I am here," she said with a smile as she walked toward Will.

"How's everything going?" she asked him, grabbing her purse from the table.

"There's been a lot of new cases lately and I'm feeling drained," he's always honest with her because it's easy for her to tell when he's not.

"You shouldn't be in this job, Will. You know it's not good for you," she said, clearly concerned for his well-being.

"That's why he has me," an unfamiliar person entered the class. He cast a predatory gaze at Tai. She stood tall, meeting his gaze head-on. He had an unusual allure about him.

"Dr. Lecter, this is Litai Elsher," Will declared with a smile as Lecter approached Litai. With a suave move, Lecter gently took her hand and planted a soft kiss on it.

"Allow me to introduce myself," he said, studying her face. He found her attractive. She appeared fragile, but deep down he knew she was likely very strong. Her aura exuded strength. "I'm Lecter Hannibal. Please call me Hannibal outside of work," he said with a confident smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I've read about you; you're the famous psychiatrist," she said with a smile. Now she found him even more captivating. His poised demeanour  and the way he gazed at her truly stirred something within her, but the ominous aura surrounding him signalled  her to keep her distance.

Before Hannibal could respond, a phone began ringing in Tai's purse. "I'm so sorry, I need to take this call," she said when she noticed it was one of her patients trying to reach her. She quickly made the phone call and agreed to see the patient sooner than scheduled. "I apologize, but I have to leave now. My patient needs to see me earlier than expected."

She simply explained the reason why she had to go.

"Pleasure to meet you, Elsher. May I extend an invitation for dinner tonight at 7 PM? Will shall also be in attendance. It would be wonderful to get to know you better, given my role as Will's therapist," Hannibal proposed. "I would be delighted," she replied with a smile, before bidding farewell and departing.

"Your friend is quite fascinating," Hannibal remarked to Will, anticipating their dinner meeting tonight. There is a captivating darkness within her that intrigues him, or perhaps it is simply the way her body moves and how her black dress accentuates her curves so perfectly. She seems like the ideal prey for him.

Litai escorted her final patient out of the office and went upstairs to her room. Glancing at the clock, she noted it was 6:00 PM and remembered the dinner planned at Dr. Lecter's home. Since it was a half-hour drive from her place, she began getting ready.

She selected a dark green dress and gold earrings, which made her look exceptionally elegant. Natural makeup completed her look, and she felt perfect.

She left the house, locked the door, and headed to her car, a black Mercedes Benz. Despite finding it too masculine for her taste, she had never regretted purchasing it. She drove to Hannibal's residence and arrived just in time.

She knocked on the door of the stately house, which, though not old, exuded an air of old money. Hannibal opened the door almost immediately.

"Perfect, just in time. Good to see you," Hannibal greeted her warmly. "I must say, you look beautiful tonight, Dr. Elsher." His compliment took her by surprise.

"Thank you, and please call me Litai. As you mentioned, let's leave formalities behind once we're off work," she replied, a small blush gracing her cheeks.

"My pleasure, Litai," he responded as he led her into the dining room. "Hello, Will," Litai said, pleased to see him seated at the table.

"Please, make yourself comfortable while I prepare the food," Hannibal said and left the room.

"That dress suits you, Tai. It's been a while since I've seen you wear it," Will remarked, starting a light conversation. Litai blushed slightly at his compliment, feeling genuinely pleased. She appreciated it when someone remembered the little things about her.

"Thanks, Will. I almost chose another dress because this one felt too formal. But hearing you say that, I trust your judgment," she smiled gratefully at him.

"You should wear this dress more often then. It's not too formal at all. It's absolutely perfect for you," Hannibal interjected as he returned with three plates of exquisitely prepared food. He briefly surveyed the room before his gaze settled on Litai, who was watching him attentively. "Today's meal is called Rôti. Bon appétit," he announced, gracefully serving the plates before taking his seat.
