Let's just get right into it...

Manic whimpered in the background as the raptors screeched. Fleetway slowly backed up.

"It's okay...it's okay...we're all okay..." The raptors snarled louder. "Manic, those bones– check for a raptor skull.

Manic looked at him in disbelief. "What?!"

Fleetway stepped on a couple of bones, trying to maneuver around them. "In the video game, I–!"

"You wanna talk about video games now?!" The raptors let out a roar, and Fleetway yelled out and fell on his back. He panted and crawled backwards towards Manic, who attempted to get the door open again. "No! Let me out!! Let me out!!"

Fleetway yelped as the raptors inched closer. Suddenly, multiple stadium lights flashed on, blinding the raptors.

"Hey!! Come and get it!!" Roxie threw chunks of meat to the raptors. "Get out of there!"

Despite most of the raptors running to the meat, one raptor lunged towards the two hedgehogs, who screamed, when a hand pulled the two backwards, the gate closing between them. Several jeeps pulled up to the enclosure, where Manic, Fleetway, and Dave stood panting.

"Secure the paddock!" One man yelled. "Move!"

Fleetway put a hand on Manic's back as the three slouched over panting. "Dave, that was...Thank you so much."

"Oh, that's standard procedure, Fleetway." Dave stood straight, a hand on his stomach. "I do that kind of stuff all the time." He gagged. "Give me a second–" He hunched over to the side and threw up. As he retched, Fleetway and Manic took a step back. "That's...better." Dave weakly mumbled before he got pushed to the side by Roxie, who held his arm.

"Are you hurt?!" She turned to the campers, including Scourge, who joined the other two. "Is everyone alright?!" Manic attempted to sneak away, only for Roxie to grab him by the shoulder. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where do you think you're going? You and Fleetway are in big trouble!"

Fleetway stared in shock. "I-I! But he– he was–"

"Save it! We'll decide what to do with you later. If you even get to remain here after a stunt like this." Roxie and the other two teenagers walked to the jeep, and Dave put a hand on Fleetway's shoulder before following Roxie. Fleetway turned to the raptor as the gate closer, and the raptor growled lowly before the gate shut.

In the tree cabin, Manic and Fleetway sat on a sofa, awaiting Dave and Roxie, Manic popping his lips in the meantime. Fleetway flinched in anger as Manic continued, before the golden hedgehog turned to Manic with annoyance written on his face.

"How could you do something so stupid?!"

Manic popped his lips once more. "I do a lot of stupid things, so you'll have to be a little more specific than that." He leaned forward, nudging Fleetway's knee. "Babes love a grand gesture, junior. You'll understand when you're older."

Fleetway sighed, shaking his head in frustration.

Manic leaned backwards again. "Okay, maybe it wasn't my best idea. Look, I don't wanna get kicked out either. When my dad..."

Fleetway's face softened, and he turned to Manic, who turned away. "My whole life, I've been trying to make him proud. I...If he finds out that I messed up again, he might...finally give up on me for good." Fleetway stared at him, when the elevator doors opened.

"We gave Scourge a warning for sneaking out, but what you two chuckleheads did–!"

"Especially you, Manic!" Roxie interrupted. "Your recklessness put yours, Fleetway's, and Dave's lives in danger! We should call your parents–"
