"captain, this base is active" b'elanna torres said
"what" captain janeway said
"yes ma'am it's been scanning us and voyager, this entire time, as if it's watching us" b'elanna said
"that would be because it is" a voice said, causing b'elanna to draw her phaser pointing towards the man who appeared, but he simply smiled disarmingly
"you can put that away lieutenant, the moment you attempt to fire a forcefield will come up blocking the beam, and anyway i mean you no harm, i just had to be sure of your intentions your the third starfleet organization i have met" i said
"the third" b'elanna said
"oh yes, the where was the terran starfleet, i was more then happy to steal a few of their ships, but then they were a bunch of evil pricks" i said
"what was the third" she asked
"a variation of your timeline, created by some pissed off romulans, don't worry, that timeline looks just as bright, as this one, the romulans that went back in time, were dealt with and their technology pushed that starfleet forward a good several decades, especially when it comes to propulsion since, they had access to a ship with transwarp tech they could reverse engineer, i have a few of their ships, as well, though that organization gave them to me freely in a free trade" i said
"captain" b'elanna said
"i'm on my way" she replied as comms closed
"that isn't entirely necessary...... well now that i think about it, it is because of your own rules" i said, no wonder Q and the boys showed up, i am making serious changes here" i said to myself, as a few moments later captain janeway materialized
"captain janeway, welcome to my vault" i said
"how are you" she asked
"lord harry james potter, of the ancient and noble houses of potter and black" i replied with a bow
"british" she said
"indeed my good lady" i said
"i have questions" she said
"of course, i should mention, that you meeting me is changing your timeline irrevocably, no one will intervene to change this, as they can't go against my recourses, but you are erasing a somewhat bright future" i said
"somewhat bright" janeway asked
"there are a few bumps, but your crewmember seven of nine for example, should you go down this path her future will change irrevocably, i cannot say it will be for the better" i said
"explain" she said
"you cannot tell her this of course" i said
"i know how the temporal prime directive works" janeway said
"in the future seven of nine, will become captain of the U.S.S.-ENTERPRISE" i said
"she will" janeway said
"not the current enterprise, now, it will be a few iterations, but yes, in 2401 she will be given a promotion to captain of the enterprise-G, a constitution-III-class ship, and that is just her future, starfleet itself will change irrevocably, well unless you simply forget about this base and go on your way" i said
"can you help us" she asked
"of course, one thing i can do is get your transwarp drive working, but i don't think you will just be satisfied with that" i said
"captain, the data i have received indicates, that his technology will throw starfleet and the federation forward, by decades if not centuries" b'elanna said
"in some fields, in others, that is not necessarily the case, propulsion and weapons most certainly, in other areas, not so much, i will be honest with you captain, practically everything in this base is military grade equipment, and to use some of it, you will need to change at least one of your laws" i said
"what do you mean" captain janeway asked
"your law on genetic engineering" i said, she frowned
"i see" she said
"come i will show you what i mean" i said, as i led the way, she followed as we entered an elevator and went down
"your turbolift system is something i have fallen in love with" i said, with a chuckle as we arrived at our destination and they followed, until we stood before provisional evangelion-01, one of several EVA unit-01s i had
"this is EVA unit-01, a weapon created, by a desperate humanity against an enemy where all other options have been exhausted, there last option was a fight fire with fire approach and thus these things were built, despite how dangerous they are, the defensive capabilities of the evangelions are some of the most powerful i have ever seen, but this is just one reason" i said as i gestured for her to follow, we made our way to yet another hanger with two units overlooking each other
"on your left is the ASW-G-01: gundam bael, on your right is the XVX-016RN: gundam aerial rebuild, both require different things, the first requires a physical alterations to the body to use at all the second requires brain alterations to use effectively without killing yourself" i said, i gestured for them to again follow, as we made our way until we stood in a hanger with several units but we stood in front of one particular unit
"this is the silhouette knight: ikaruga, this unit will require genetic tampering for anyone in this universe to make use of it, but it can technically be powered indefinitely" i said
"technically" janeway asked
"it's power source, can recharge itself, but creating that power source will require it's own biogenetic engineering" i replied, i turned to them
"a lot of my technology can be used, but if you want to use all of my resources to the fullest well, your gonna need to rethink your laws, oh, there is just one more thing" i said, as i drew my wand
"expecto patronum" i chanted as a spectral phoenix burst forth from my wand, and flew around the room
"that being, me, i have unique abilities, that children may or may not inherit, that would even without genetic tampering would put them ahead of most everyone in your federation, just as i did with the other one, there is a reason they just gave me a small fleet of ships and told me to leave, it had a lot to do with my fight with khan" i said, offhandedly
"is there a way we can contact our superiors" janeway asked
"certainly follow me" i said, as i led them back into a turbolift and up to my office
"this is my personal office, i invite you to peruse my files at your leisure though i will warn to not activate anything, my vaults defenses are numerous, and should you activate the wrong thing everything could activate in a cascade effect that will likely kill you and destroy your ship, this isn't a threat, just a warning to be careful" i said, janeway nodded her understanding, he was giving her full access but also warning her not to touch things she may not understand
"thank you" she said, i bowed and left
"i will be right outside simply call when you are done" i said, as i placed a hand into my coat and pulled out a book, as i stepped out
"well, he is definitely a character" janeway said
"he's way too inviting it's creepy" b'elanna said
"well he definitely has nothing to hide, letting us peruse his files as we please" janeway said, she sat down at the desk and realized that this was very similar to starfleet consoles, it may have come from that parallel universe that their host had been to
"computer, this is captain kathryn janeway please connect me to starfleet command, authorization janeway pie 110" janeway said, there was a confirmation chime, and to her surprise, it did so only minutes later
