(At Clara's school there was a school assembly, with McGruff the crime dog)

McGruff the crime dog: Good afternoon, my name is McGruff the crime dog. Today you will learn how to spot a neighborhood criminal, I realized how excited you all are to have me visit to your school and talk about crime watch today, but I would like to ask that you try to refrain from any emotional outbursts to hold all of your questions and comments after the presentation. Now let us begin. (The production begins and shows the image of a shadowed figure) First of all, can anyone tell me who this person is?

Clara: (Raises her hand) Oh, oh I can, I can.

McGruff the crime dog: No, you can't, you don't know him. Therefore, you cannot trust him, which brings us to the next point. What do you call a person you cannot trust? A) Your best friend, B) A contributing member to society, or C) Grandpa?

Wendy: I know!

McGruff the crime dog: A person you cannot trust is called a stranger. Now everybody with me.

Everyone: Stranger...

McGruff the crime dog: Good. Now suppose you're walking home from school and suddenly a stranger offers you a ride home, what should you do?

Carla: Oh, I know!

McGruff the crime dog: I'll tell you what to do! Run, run as far away. Because that stranger could be a neighborhood criminal. So, remember kids, report any suspicious activity to your local police department and together we can take a bite out of crime.

(After the assembly, Clara and her sisters talk about what they learned)

Carla: Wow, that was great!

Wendy: You said it, Carla.

Clara: Well, I've done this quite a lot with the oc's, so I think it's a good chance to try it with you girls. In fact, I wanna start looking for crime, right about now!

Wendy: Me too!

Carla: Me three!

(At their treehouse, Clara was looking around for any suspicious activity when she saw a boy jaywalking and gasps)

Clara: A criminal! (She runs to that boy) Freeze jaywalker!

(The boy runs away but Clara chases after him. She eventually catches him and starts nibbling his fingers)

Boy: Ouch, ow! Stop, I'll never jaywalk again!

(Wendy and Carla appear)

Wendy: Um, Clara. I don't think McGruff literally meant to bite the criminal with your teeth...

Clara: Oops, well if this isn't the way you bite crime then what is?

Boy: Get off of me, get off of me!

Clara: There's only one friend who can help us!

(The girls meet Thunder)

Clara, Wendy and Carla: Hi Thunder!

Clara: My sisters and I formed a criminal watch squad and we're confused about how you bite crime, so I was wondering-

Thunder: Well, say no more! What you need is... some weapons!

(The girls find themselves some weapons which include some slingshots and water guns)

Wendy: Now what?

Clara: We find ourselves a criminal!

Carla: But where?

(Suddenly, a white van pulls up and a shadowy figure tiptoes to the backseat to retrieve some pliers before heading to a yard)

Clara, Wendy and Carla: It's crime-biting time!

Clara: (Whispers) Quick, when he comes out ties some ribbons to his shoe so we can tail him!

(The stranger comes out and the girls tie some ribbons to his shoes. The stranger grabs a spray and leaves while laughing)

Clara: He's getting away! We'll ring the doorbells to alert the neighbors!

(They do so, with many neighbors opening the door confused and angry)

Carla: Then we gather evidence from every house and bring it to our headquarters for further investigation!

(They take items from yards and bring them to their treehouse)

Clara: Great job team, I believe we gathered the right amount of evidence! Now to apprehend the suspect.

Carla: (Looks out of the window) Oh no... Clara look!

(They look over the window to see the stranger coming to the doorstep of their house and Eunice opening the door)

Eunice Heasley: Oh, hi there, do come in.

(The stranger smiles and comes inside much to the chipmunk girls horror who scream and get off their treehouse and get inside the house)

Clara: (To Eunice) Alright, where is he? Where's the killer?!

Eunice Heasley: Oh, he's in our backyard.

(The girls go to the backyard to see the stranger sawing off one of the tree branches of the tree that their treehouse was on)

Clara: (Gasps) He found our headquarters!

Wendy: And he tries to sabotage it!

Carla: Let's get him!

(The girls go outside and tackle him, however he accidentally saw too much of the branch causing the treehouse to collapse and get destroyed as many neighbors arrived at the scene)

Boy: (Arrives and grabs his cat) Fluffy? Fluffy? Oh Fluffy! (Cries)

Elf: (Grabs his gnome statue) Hey Gnomy, don't you know me?

Man: Hey, that's my automatic time sprinkler system!

Everyone: (Point at the chipmunk girls) Those chipmunks are neighborhood criminals!!!

Clara, Wendy and Carla: We're not criminals, he is!

(They point at the stranger who is revealed to be...)

Stranger: Oh, hello. Just your friendly neighborhood gardener at your service.

(Clara and her sisters drop their jaws as McGruff arrives)

Clara, Wendy and Carla; McGruff the crime dog?!

McGruff the crime dog: At this time I'd like to thank all of the neighbors for the cooperation. (To the chipmunk girls) And as for these three... (The girls lower their heads)

Donna: (Appears) Allow me. (Bites the girls in their tails)

Clara, Wendy and Carla: Ow!

Clara: Hey!

McGruff the crime dog: Thank you. This crime has been bitten. (Winks at the audience)
