Way Back When ~Len x Reader~

We'll always see eachother again, someday..

~~FLASHBACK~~
"Hehe! Try and catch me if you can, Len!" You giggled, running away from the blonde-haired boy who stared at you. "(Y/N)! Get back here!" Len called after you, letting out a soft chuckle. You decided to hide in a big bush, you giggled and hid. Len called out your name, making funny noises which made you laugh. "Hmmm, oh (Y/N)~ Where are youu?" He sung,walking beside the bush you were hiding in, then peeked inside of it. "Boo!" Len shouted next to your ear, making you jump. "L-Len! You scared me!" You gasped, hitting him lightly on the shoulder, laughing quietly, Len stood up, pulling you out of the bush and into the warm sunlight. "H-Hey, (Y/N)...You know I will always be there for you right?" Len said, looking at me over his shoulder at me, "Of course I know that!" You gasped out, walking to stand next to him, "Why would you ever ask me that?" You finished curiously, "Um well (Y/N)....I'm moving away, to America...my dad got a job transfer for Washington." Len said sadly, twiddling with his thumbs and looking down at his shoes. You didn't show it, but you were heartbroken. You smiled gently, putting a hand on Lens shoulder, "Hey! It's okay! We'll see each other again someday!" You said "happily" with a fake smile, "Now come on let's finish our game!" You added, pulling him along with you into the woods.

Little did he now, when you got home, everything changed for you.

~~PRESENT TIME~~

You tossed and turned in your sleep, calling out someones name. "L-Len....L...en...p-please don't leave..me..." You sobbed. This dream occurred frequently for you, and every time you had it, you cried and cried. Not even five minutes later your alarm clock shouted from your side table, 'RING! RING!' It screamed, waiting for you to get up and out of bed. You sat up, wiping your eyes, throwing the blanket over your legs, you put one foot on the cold wooden floor, then the other. Walking to the other side of the bed, you slammed your hand on the 'SNOOZE' button, sighing you thought, 'Another boring morning leads to another boring day...' You stepped in the bathroom with your outfit of the day, black skinnies, a tank top with a silver cross on it, a blue and black flannel, and some lace-up combat boots. You turned the shower on, setting it to the temperature you like, you waited. When it got warmer, you stripped, putting your pajamas into the hamper, you stepped in. Your stiffened muscles instantly relaxed, you let the warm water run down your body, just standing there, you were thinking about your best friend, Len, oh how you missed him. Its been seven and a half years since that day, the day he told me he was leaving for Washington.
