[Description: While setting up for Christmas, a glass shatters and startles Zane but the reaction sends him back into something horrible from the Lodge and Kawaii-Chan is the one to comfort him and clean up the cut..and distract him from everything.]

|Aphmau's Year|

Kawaii-Chan's POV:

"Kawaii-Chan can you hold this side up?" Garroth asked, I looked over and seen him holding up the other string of lights that Aphmau requested to go up.

She's with Sylvana right now and while Zane, Garroth, and I told her that we would set everything up for her...she thanked us and I could see the relief on her face.

"Of course" I said and set the glass down, walking over I climbed onto the chair that Garroth had set up for me and grabbed the one part of the lights and lifted it up.

Garroth made sure both ends were even before hooking them around the nails he had put in the wall and carefully twisting them up...once he was done I jumped down.

Moving the chair off to the side, I brushed a strand of hair out of my face and started adding a few little smaller decorations around the little table for Aphmau's little christmas town.

Garroth moved around the living room and then a minute later, I heard a bunch of glass shattering and spun around to see Garroth standing there with a sheepish smile.

I blinked a few times trying to think about how he could've possibly done that but I heard something outside and instantly straightened up as I realized Zane was out there.

"I'll be back" I said and ran outside, Garroth didn't even question me as I ran over to the end of the porch and leaned over to see Zane had fallen off the ladder.

Oh irene.

"Zane!" I gasped loudly and jumped over the railings, I ran over to him and realized that he must've cut his hand and it was almost like he wasn't here anymore.

Is he having a panic attack?

Or a flashback?

"Zane, are you okay?" I asked, falling down onto my knees next to him, there's a cut on his hand and it was bleeding like crazy now but I had nothing to stop it.

He looked like he was struggling to breathe and I tried to think of something that would help without telling Garroth that Zane got hurt because Zane doesn't want Garroth to worry about him.

So, I quickly pulled my phone out of my pocket and asked Garroth if he could out and get some pizza for us while we decorate and he agreed...once I heard him leaving, I looked back at Zane.

"Zane come on" He still didn't move and was just staring off into specfic spot but I couldn't figure out why but...he must be having a flashback.

So, I did the only thing I could think of and moved over to him and wrapped my arms around his shoulders, I rested my chin on my arm next to his head and just held him tight.

I remember my big brother telling me that sometimes that can help with panic attacks and I'm really hoping that it's going to help him because I didn't know what else to do.

It was cold in the snow but Zane needed someone and that's what's the most important thing right now...I don't want to leave him out here in the snow alone when he's struggling.
