[Description: During a BBQ for Aaron and Aphmau's daughter Alina's 1st birthday, Damien shows up with the intent to win Kawaii-Chan back and believing that Zane and Kawaii-Chan's relationship isn't real.]

Kawaii-Chan's POV:

Zane tied the ribbon on my heels for me into a little bow and I thanked him as he stood up and grabbed my hand, pulling me up with him while we waited for Garroth and Laurance.

When they weren't in the living room 5 minutes later like they said they would, I walked over and stomped on the ground repeatedly until they both came running upstairs from Laurance's room.

"Sorry" They said sheepishly.

"Go" I ordered and they both ran out the door while Zane chuckled and grabbed my hand once again and walked out of the house, he stopped to lock the door and then headed down the steps with me.

Today is little Alina's 1st birthday and I picked her out the cutest little dress that Aphmau and I noticed when we were out and about to grab everything for the party.

Walking across the street, we ran up the stairs of the house and walked through the door where a nervous looking Aphmau was waiting with Alina in her arms.

What happened?

"Have an Alina" Were the first words out of Aphmau's mouth as she handed me Alina and I smiled down at her and adjusted her in my arms, Alina started playing with a bit of my hair.

"What happened?" Zane asked, knowing there was a reason behind this.

"Well umm" Aphmau trailed off and then ushered for us to follow her and we did, as I got closer I realized everyone was mumbling out in the backyard as I got closer.

Oh no.

Stepping outside with Aphmua, I felt Zane tense behind me and I followed his line of sight to see who he was staring at and who had gotten that reaction from Zane.

"Damien?" I questioned and looked at Aphmau.

"I'm sorry"

"Why is Damien here?" Zane asked in a tense tone while I winced when Alina accidentally tugged on my hair a little too hard, she quickly stopped and just kept playing with it.

"Well when we split up at the mall, I ran into him and he just started talking to me. I was being nice and then he started telling me about how he and his girlfriend broke up and I felt bad and then told him about Alina and how Aaron and I got married. Then he started asking about everyone else and I told him how you and Zane were together now and I made it clear you two were together and then he kind of got all sad until I felt too bad and invited him to the party. I didn't actually think he would show up" She explained and I nodded my head.

Zane just nodded his head and walked down the stairs towards Aaron and Garroth while Aphmau gave me a sheepish smile and I just reassured her with a soft smile.

"Lesson learned, never split up in the mall again" I said and she nodded her head.

"I'm sorry" She mumbled.

"It's okay and Zane will be okay, just give him a minute" She nodded her head and asked if I wanted to keep Alina for a bit and I agreed as she walked off to go grab some water.

Alina is my friend.

Looking down at Alina, I smiled at her and she gave me a big smile that had mine widening as I shook my head at her and she let out a giggle at something so simple.
