sunoo sighed out of boredom as he watched his brother's practice match. he flipped his book, trying to concentrate on reading instead.

"pass to jisung, dude!"

"and lose a point? that guy sucks as a shooting guard!"

"you suck more, jake! you can't even beat me on arcade!"

who am i kidding? i can't even focus with all the noise around me. sunoo rolled his eyes and closed the book. he decided to play games on his phone, picking something that won't bore him out.

it's been exactly three days since he started waiting for his hyung after his class ends. he doesn't even know why, but jay would always insist that they must go home together. not that he's complaining, because honestly it's convenient to have his brother around. plus that jangjun guy almost stopped pestering him too.

it's just that he feels like there's something going on that he doesn't know. or am i the weird one to think like that?

"hyung, can't i go home first today? i want to sleep." sunoo whined as jay went to him after their first practice.

jay raised an eyebrow at him as he wiped his sweat with the face towel that sunoo handed him.

"can you wait a little bit longer for hyung? i promise the second match will end quickly." jay smiled apologetically. he doesn't want to let sunoo go home alone, especially that it's already past 6 pm.

"you always say that," sunoo pouted. he really wants to sleep. "i'm bored! i wanna do something-"

"here, sunoo."

a familiar hand appeared in front of him, holding a book. he looked up and was met with sunghoon's friendly face.

"it's a brain game book. you know how to play crosswords, sudoku and such right? it's all in there."

sunoo blinked, then slowly nodded. he accepts the book then gave sunghoon a smile. "thank you, sunghoon hyung. can i write...?" he asked with a small voice.

"of course, it's all yours." sunghoon grinned before clapping his hands. "okay, let's get back to practice everyone!"

the younger watched as he ran back to the court. he stared at the book on his lap. well, i guess i won't get bored for a while.

jay glanced at his brother who seemed to calm down now and is currently busy scanning the book that sunghoon gave him.

he then looked at sunghoon who's laughing with the others. before he could even think, he felt someone hit the back of his head.

"what are you spacing out for? let's start." eiji stared at him. "you okay?"

he nodded. "yeah. let's go."

as promised, the second game only took around thirty minutes. the basketball team headed towards the locker room to shower, and jay was the first one to finish- scurrying as he walked to where his brother is.

he stared at sunoo who is still scribbling on the book that sunghoon gave him. he liked it that much? he hasn't even noticed me.

"sun, let's go home."

sunoo raised his head, pouted, and put the book inside his backpack. he was close to finishing the crossword puzzle but his brother just had to interrupt him.

jay carried his brother's backpack while sunoo just followed behind him. the other teammates waved goodbye to them.

"bye, sunoo!" jake yelled while smiling widely.
