sunoo stared at the food in front of him. he doesn't have any apetite to eat. he keeps pondering on whether he'll meet jangjun later, or just ditch the guy.

whatever he does, he thinks both choices are worse.

"sunoo, you should eat your food." eunchae nudged him. "your soup will get cold."

he blinked and then nodded. "right... sorry."

their school canteen is packed with students on different year levels since it's already past lunch time. it's chaotic and the noise just gets louder every minute- which sunoo hates very much.

"so," minjeong clears her throat. "what's your plan later?" she asked, referring to jangjun.

dongpyo frowned while still sipping on his apple juice. "can you please don't mention that? it's annoying how he keeps on texting me as if i'd follow his orders like a dog."

"well, that's because you were rooting for him before. see? you're a bad judge of character."

"eunchae, please shut up. also to be fair, i was only nice to him because he gave us free food and movie tickets."

eunchae looked at dongpyo dead in the eye. "exactly. you like him because he gave you treats, like a dog- ouch!"

sunoo just sighed as he let the three bicker in front of him. he doesn't have the energy today. am i low in iron? maybe i should drink more vitamins.

while he was busy munching the vegetables, he noticed a group of familiar guys walking inside the cafeteria.

"let's just sit there- oh, sunoo! hi!"

great. it's hyung's noisy teammates. looks like his energy is going to get drained more.

jay's teammates waved at him happily, like a bunch of giddy golden retrievers. sunoo smiled back politely, waving his hand a little to show that he saw them too.

"oh my gods, my eyes have been blessed." eunchae mumbled, her mouth still half-full of rice. his friends just stared at the basketball team, gawking at the view.

"sunoo! have you eaten lunch yet? do you want me to buy one for you?" the brown-haired guy, jake, went closer to their table.

"you stupid, can't you see the plate in front of him?" ej pulled him back to stop him from getting chatty with sunoo. "don't scare the kids, let's just eat."

thank goodness. "enjoy your lunch, hyungs." sunoo gave them another smile.

jay's teammates felt like they were melting. they all think sunoo's just too cute for this world.

"thank you, sunoo. don't hesitate to approach us if you need help with anything," jisung was supposed to pat sunoo's head but jiwoong slapped his hand off.

"jay's going to amputate you if you touch his brother," jiwoong whispered as they walked away from the younger's table.

"but he's not even here!"

sunoo watched his brother's teammates while they talk loudly to each other. i guess jay hyung still has a class. even sunghoon hyung is not around...

he stops thinking when he felt someone kick his foot under the table.

"sun! i want names! oh my gosh, i'm going to watch every basketball game ever now!" eunchae squeals and dongpyo claps, agreeing with their friend.

"hello? can we focus on the topic please?" minjeong snaps her finger at the two and then faced sunoo. "are you meeting that ogre later?"

ogre? is she referring to jangjun? he snorted a bit.
