Ok.. so I have a wolf in my house..
This is crazy. What if I try to shoo it out with a broom? Nope, it would probably just kill me at that point.
I sigh as I look over to the puppy and wolf that sat at my feet, just staring at me. The puppy jumps on my lap and nuzzles my hand. To which I gladly pet it and it licked my hand.
I giggle a bit at this, enjoying the puppy's presence. Though I noticed the wolf is still staring at me. It seems like the puppy is the only reason why it hasn't. Meaning, I better make sure this puppy doesn't get hurt in any way or form.
I sigh as I look out the window above my kitchen sink. The night outside completely obscured with thunder clouds. Or scientifically known as cumulonimbus clouds.
Meaning there was going to be quite some heavy rain tonight. I get up and close the blinds and curtains of the windows and, lock all the exits. Don't need the storm blowing in any windows.
I then turn out the lights and head upstairs, the wolf behind me. It was carrying the puppy again. I change into some basketball shorts and a tank top. I look back at the wolf and puppy only to see them both turned away.
I just shrug it off and get into bed after turning the lights off. Though as soon as I get comfortable, I feel something heavy get into bed with me. I look over to my right and the wolf had jumped on the bed. It curled up into my side and laid beside me.
The puppy laid on my chest, curling into a small ball under my chin. I was slightly taken aback but, let them stay. Especially since it wouldn't be wise to move either of them off of me.
I close my eyes, starting to drift to sleep. As I do, my mind wanders. 'When is the next episode of Helluva Boss coming out?' I thought...

Once the human girl is asleep, I look over to Vaggie. "Psst.. Vaggie?.." I said quietly. Vaggie opens her one eye and looks at me. "Yes love?" She answered.
"What do you think may have brought us here?.." I questioned. She thought for a moment before looking at me with a deadpan look. "Maybe the book I told you to set down?" She said.
I could here the sourness in her tone and slightly whine. "I thought it was just another glowing book." I whimpered. She put a paw on her muzzle before dragging it down. "How many books have you seen that glow?" She asked.
"...none..." I answered. She nipped my ear a little, making me whine. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that the book would send us to the world of the living." I whimper.
She huffed and let go of my ear, which I rubbed with my paw. This all felt so.. weird..
That's when I it hit me, the book was still there. I start panicking which, Vaggie takes notice of. "Charlie.. I know what your thinking.. The only thing we can do is just hope that no one else comes across that book.." she said. The worry in her voice clear.
I shakily nod and curl back up into the human woman. She's warm and it's comforting..
