"THE WINNERS OF THIS YEAR'S ELECTION ARE PARK SUNGHOON AND YOON HWAMIN; THE FORMER BEING THE CLASS PRESIDENT WITH THE LATTER AS VICE." After days of campaigning, these were the results.

Hwamin wasn't surprised at all she got the role, even though she didn't even campaign, but it was the first time she was vice instead. She usually dominated the elections, but this year, things had changed.

Sunghoon had tried very hard during the campaigning. He made speeches, spoke to students individually, and even organized events to win their favor. His efforts paid off, and it was clear to everyone that he genuinely wanted to make a difference.

Hwamin stood on stage beside Sunghoon as the principal announced the results. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. It was clear he took the role seriously.

As the applause died down, the principal congratulated them once more. Hwamin responded with a brief smile, masking the whirlwind of emotions she felt. Working closely with Sunghoon was going to be challenging, but she couldn't deny a small part of her was intrigued by the prospect.

Hwamin decided not to inform Sunghoon of her findings yet. She wanted to gather more information before confronting him with her suspicions. There were too many pieces missing from the puzzle, and she needed a clearer picture before bringing him into it.

As they stood together after the announcement, Sunghoon turned to her, his expression neutral but his eyes reflecting a hint of bitterness. "Congratulations, Hwamin," he said, extending his hand for a handshake. "I look forward to working with you."

She accepted his hand, feeling the firmness of his grip. "Likewise, Sunghoon," she replied, keeping her tone cordial. She could sense his resentment, but she wasn't going to let it bother her.

Throughout the day, they had to interact as partners, planning their agenda for the year. Sunghoon was professional and courteous, but Hwamin couldn't shake the feeling that he was still bitter about her getting the vice president role.

When everyone returned to class after the assembly, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. Students approached Hwamin and Sunghoon, offering their congratulations and best wishes for the coming year.

"Congrats, Hwamin! You totally deserve it!" one girl said, giving her a friendly hug.

"I knew you'd get it!" another added, flashing a thumbs-up.

Sunghoon received his fair share of praise as well. "Great job, Sunghoon! I know you'll be an awesome president!" a classmate said, patting him on the back.

"Thanks, everyone," Hwamin responded graciously, her smile poised and polite. She noticed the glances people gave her and Sunghoon, the curiosity about how they would work together clear on their faces.

Sunghoon nodded in acknowledgment of the compliments, his expression more reserved. "Thank you," he said, maintaining his professionalism.

As the students settled down, Miss Chin entered the classroom, clapping her hands to get everyone's attention. "Alright, everyone, let's get back to our lessons. We have a lot to cover today."
