"Victoria, look at me!" Logan yells across the kitchen.

"What are you-" Logan jumps off the table, attempting to land on his feet.

Instead, he falls on his butt.

"Oh my gosh, Logan!" Victoria yells, running to him.

"Ow, it hurts, it hurts!" Logan whines, not moving an inch.

"Can you get up at all?!" Victoria questions.

"I can try.." Logan replies, placing his hand on the kitchen chair and slowly pulling himself back up.

"Look, you have to be careful, okay?" Victoria sighs worriedly. "Especially when our parents are at work, I don't know everything."

"Can you make me breakfast?" Logan asks.

"No, make it yourself." Victoria replies, the same way she usually would.

Logan starts limping as he walks towards the fridge.

".. right, you can barely move." Victoria realizes. "I'll just make you poptarts, alright?"

"I want waffles, Amelia." Logan complains.

"No, no waffles for you Logan. I can't even make those!" Victoria raises her voice.

The door opens, and it's their dad, David. He had just come home from work. He gives them each a kiss on the head.

"You guys eat anything yet?" He asks.

"We were gonna make our own food but now I have to make food for Logan, since he fell again." Victoria rolls her eyes.

"Really? Again? Where'd he fall this time?" David asked, concerned.

"He fell right where his tailbone is." Victoria sighed.

"Well, you did what I taught you, right?" David smiled.

"You taught me what?" Victoria looked at him, confused.

His smile faded. "Victoria, come on." David walked towards the freezer. "You're supposed to let him ice it and tell him to take a seat." He threw an ice pack to Logan."Go sit down, buddy."

"Sorry, dad." Victoria sighs, hearing the poptarts pop. She puts them on a plate for Logan and delivers it to him. "I have a hard time paying attention, you know."

"Yeah, your grades are a real good example of that." David scratches the back of his head. "Victoria, you should pay more attention to me when I say these things. I'm a doctor, this isn't just nonsense."

"Fine, I'll remember next time dad." Victoria groans.

"Ugh, why is it so loud, it's 9am!" Their mom, Marie, enters from the bedroom.

"Mom, I thought you had already left for work." Victoria takes a sip from a glass of milk.

"It's great to see you too, sweetie." Marie sighs.

- COMMENTARY -
"When I thought of having a family, I didn't really think it would be so bad in the morning." David smiled, holding Marie's hand.
