Izuku sat in the classroom and listened to the teacher. The lesson today went over his head, it wasn't hard but Izuku would always figure out the lesson. Izuku wrote many notes in his Maxmail guide book, it was only a day ago he deflected a missile from a killer Predacon. Izuku was filled with such energy he could run a marathon. He started to understand how important this war was for humanity's future.

Izuku moved a bit too fast as he gripped his shoulder in pain, apparently stopping a missile with a space shield can do some serious bruising to your entire right shoulder. Izuku then without noticing found a piece of paper on his desk. He then heard Carmine fake cough beside him. Izuku could see a note was passed to him. Issei sneaky opened it to what was written inside.

"Dude, what happened to you? Did you get in a fight?" The note said.

The bell then rang letting the class know that their period was over. The teacher looked at the class and frowned. Izuku could always see that Mr. Cranky looked like he hated his job but still taught the class very adequately. Izuku began to pack his things. Miko and Carmine walked to his desk and both of them had smiles on their faces.

"Hey, Izuku! Carmine and I are going to head to the arcade. You wanna come with us," Miko asked however her eyes caught Izuku's visible neck to see some bruising peeking out of his clothes. Miko began to worry and so did Carmine. Izuku was happy that they wanted to hang out with him.

"Yeah, that sounds nice guys, you know what! I will come with guys," Izuku cheerfully said. All of them got out of the class and walked down the hall. Miko then excitedly jumped in the air waving her hands pumped up for this epic video game adventure.

"Aw man, I can't wait for you to meet Raf. He's the smartest person I know," Miko said.

Carmine gave Izuku a concerned look, finally pointing out the elephant In the room.

"Hey, man did you get in a fight or hit by a car because that bruise looks fresh," Carmine said with concern. Izuku had forgotten about his injury and hoped no one would notice.

"Oh, it's nothing, I just fell down the stairs last night," Izuku said, trying to take the suspicion off him. Miko and Carmine both shrugged their shoulders and figured it was probably the truth.

"Oh man, that sucks, sorry Izuku," Miko said feeling bad that Izuku had some bad luck.

Izuku sighed in relief but didn't like that he had just lied to his new friends but too much was at stake. They all left the school and began to explore the town. Izuku could see many small shops and businesses that make up most of the downtown area. The people here were all pretty quiet.

They walked down the busy main street and all three of them began to get a little hungry.

"Aw man, I'm starving, where should we even eat?" Miko said. The sound of her growling stomach got both of their attention. Izuku looked around to see many small restaurants, some food vendors, and a singular vending machine.

"Hey, why not get something from there?" Izuku said as he walked over to the machine. Carmine was about to protest against it. Until Izuku saw a mug shot of Carmine posted on the vending machine. The words written on it said, "Carmine is forbidden from using this machine, it took 20 people to get him out," the note words that were written on. Izuku had a flabbergasted look at the note. He turned to his new friends to see Miko holding in her laugh, while Carmine's eyes started to twitch in annoyance.

"What happened here?" Izuku asked Carmine who embarrassedly scratched the back of his head.

"I hate machines," Carmine said as he walked past the vending machine.
