A couple of hours passed on the way to the mountain of raw Energon, The afternoon had passed while night had settled in. The Maxails were following a dirt path that led towards the mountain, while Izuku had given them directions, while also helping them avoid camping spots.

The Maximals were on a wide ledge that was in a crevasse, while the right side of the crevasse was giving a great view of the valley from a great height. Rhinox walks by Optimus.

"How, are you Feeling?" Rhinox asked Optimus in a concerned tone.

"Improved, I believe my internal repairs have been completed," Optimus said in a calm tone. Rhinox gave a nod.

"I was wondering, your flying robot from here could make it to the crystal before any of u-" Optimus cut him off while keeping his calm look.

"No, we have to stay together. The Predacons could attack at any moment and there may be other surprises on this planet," Optimus said, Rhinox looked towards the open field below them.

"There are!" Rhinox told Optimus. "Down there look,"

Optimus stops to see a flat green sward field is there, with what looks like a strange structure of standing stones, while in the middle of the stones were many stacked stones. There is no telling how old it is or how it got there.

Optimus looked at the stones with interest. "Hm, unusual any opinion Dinobot"

Rhinox glances at him and gives his thoughts.

"Just two. It isn't natural and we didn't build it, and neither did the Predacons," Rhinox then glances at Izuku who is still on Cheetor's back.

"How about we ask our guide for an answer," Rhinox told Optimus.

Optimus raises an eyebrow, but before thinking further into the situation. There was a silent buzzing noise that was getting louder by the second, Cheetor cat ears picked up the Buzzing of Waspinator coming straight toward the group. Cheetor growled, alerting the others.

"Rrrowl! Head up!" Cheetor yelled to the group, Cheetor ran towards a large rock.

"Izuku takes cover now," Optimus yelled to the teen. Izuku jumped off Cheetor's back and ran for cover behind some rocks on the path. Waspinator and Terrorsaur are barreling out of the sky.

"Waspinator! Terrorize!"

"Terrorsaur Terrorize!"

The two then transformed into their robot modes in the air, then flew towards them bristling with their weapons. The others transformed as well, readying their weapons.

"Everyone in defensive positions" Optimus yelled, Rattrap pointed his laser gun at Dinobot.

"What about him?!" Rattrap asked Optimus.

Optimus furrowed his brow and shook his head.

"He with us, now contrast fire on the flyers," Optimus commands.

The two flying Predacons dove from the sky, blasting at the group below. While Lazer and orbs of energy hammer at our heroes. The Maximals returned fire. Optimus then noticed that the rocky cover above them, with many stalagmites hanging over the group, was shaking due to the gunfighting. Izuku also noticed while looking behind his cover.

"Everyone you have to hold your fire, you might cause the crease to cave in!" Izuku screamed.

"Hold your fire! Izuku right, we could start an avalanche!" Optimus yelled.

You crossed yer wires!? They're comin' back!" Rattrap argues. Sure enough, Waspinator and Terrorsaur are maneuvering around and banking for another pass. Optimus straightens himself out and looks towards the group.
