The cafe buzzed with the usual chatter and the aroma of coffee, but for Taehyung, the world narrowed down to the car parked across the street.

'Yoongi ?... with Hoseok...' Taehyung muttered under his breath, his face contorted with a mix of rage and disbelief. He watched the car pull away, the image of his ex-boyfriend and his brother, now his ex's husband, sitting so comfortably together, burning itself into his mind. He couldn't believe it. Even though their relationship had been a charade, a manufactured love story to appease societal pressures, it still felt like a betrayal. Yoongi, his Yoongi, the one he had so masterfully manipulated, had chosen his brother. He wouldn't stand for it. He had to know why.

Taehyung, fueled by a potent mix of injured pride and anger, stormed towards his expensive sports car, fuming. He was about to speed off after Yoongi and Hoseok when a black sedan pulled up in front of him, obstructing his path. Taehyung's heart plummeted.

He knew who it was.

'Well, well, well,' a velvety voice purred from the other side of the window. It was Jeon Jungkook, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he leaned against the car door. Taehyung hated that cocky smirk, that air of effortless power that seemed to hang around Jungkook like an invisible aura. He knew Jungkook had his own reasons for wanting Yoongi and Hoseok together. And he knew Jungkook was powerful enough to make it happen.

'Jungkook,' Taehyung said, his voice barely a whisper. His hand trembled as he reached for his car door handle.

'Leaving so soon, Tae?' Jungkook's voice was a playful taunt. 'Don't you want to stick around and see what I've done to unite Yoongi and Hoseok?'

Taehyung froze, his hand hovering above the door handle. His eyes darted nervously to the side, searching for a way out. He could feel Jungkook's gaze, cold and piercing, on him.

'I... I need to go,' Taehyung stammered, his voice a mere mumble.

Jungkook chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. He leaned forward, his voice a whisper. 'Oh, I think you'll want to stay. I have a surprise for you. A little something that will convince you to let Yoongi and Hoseok be happy.'

Taehyung's body went rigid. His mind raced, searching for an escape route. He knew better than to underestimate Jungkook. He was a wolf in sheep's clothing, charming and charismatic on the surface, but with a dark and dangerous core.

'Jungkook,' Taehyung pleaded, his voice cracking. 'Please, just let me go. I won't interfere.'

Jungkook tilted his head, a playful smile playing on his lips. 'Oh, Tae, you really think you have a choice?'

He leaned back in his seat, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. Taehyung's heart pounded in his chest, his fear a tangible thing. He knew he was trapped, his fate hanging precariously in the balance. He could only hope that somehow, some way, he could escape Jungkook's clutches.

Jungkook's heart hammered in his chest. He had expected trouble, but Taehyung's furious arrival, his face contorted with rage, was something else. The smirk on Jungkook's face was a thin veneer, masking the steel in his gaze.

He blocked Taehyung's path, the low growl in his voice sending a shiver down Taehyung's spine.

Taehyung, for all his bravado, couldn't meet Jungkook's eyes. His arrogance faltered, replaced by a desperate fear.
