The grand oak doors of the mansion creaked open, revealing Taehyung, a picture of feigned vulnerability. He shuffled in, his face pale, eyes wide with exaggerated fear.

His mother, Mrs. Kim, rushed to him, her eyes filled with tears. 'Taehyung! My darling, what happened? Are you hurt?'her eyes glistening, enveloped him in a tight embrace.

Taehyung, his voice laced with calculated drama, drew back, 'Mama, I... I was kidnapped! Just as I was about to leave for the ceremony, this horrifying man grabbed me, dragged me into a van, and...' He let out a theatrical sigh, 'I thought I'd never see you again!'

His father, a stern but loving man, patted his son's shoulder. 'It's alright, my boy. You're safe now. Tell us about this kidnapper, we'll report it to the police.'

Taehyung, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous glint, recounted his fabricated story of the kidnapping, omitting any mention of the handsome stranger who had rescued him. He embellished the details, painting himself as a helpless victim.

'And then... then this kind, mysterious stranger just appeared out of nowhere! He fought off the kidnappers and saved me. He was incredible, Mom, a real hero!'

'Oh, Taehyung,' his mother said, her voice choked with emotion, 'you must've been so scared.'

'Of course, Mama! This whole ordeal has been terrifying. And, you know what else?' he continued, his voice a low whisper, 'I was supposed to marry Yoongi yesterday.'

The room fell silent. His father let out a heavy sigh, his eyes meeting his wife's. A wave of understanding passed between them. Taehyung, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, pressed on.

'But where is he? Why wasn't he here? He should have been here!'

His mother, her face betraying a mixture of sadness and guilt, took a deep breath. 'Taehyung, dear... we have something to tell you. The Min family, they... they were very insistent on the marriage. The media pressure was immense, and Hoseok, he...'

She faltered, unable to continue. His father, taking over, said in a somber tone, 'Hoseok had to marry Yoongi. He's been favoured with the Mins for the past few months. They'd putted pressure on them to quickly continue the ceremonial wedding.'

The news hit Taehyung like a physical blow. His world seemed to tilt on its axis. He froze, his mind reeling. The carefully crafted facade of his fabricated kidnapping crumbled, replaced by a suffocating sense of betrayal and disbelief.

'What... what do you mean?' he stammered, his voice barely a whisper. 'Hoseok... Hoseok married Yoongi? But he... he was supposed to marry me!'

'H..he can't.. can't do it...H...Hoseok.. can't marry Yoongi... h..he.. c...can't'

'He Can't !!!!!'

The echo of Taehyung's rage reverberated through the grand hall, bouncing off the marble walls and the portraits of ancestors who, judging by their stern expressions, would likely have disapproved of the current scene.

'Hoseok!' Taehyung roared, his voice hoarse with fury. His mother, Lady Kim, cowered slightly, her carefully maintained composure cracking. The delicate porcelain teacups on the ornate table rattled. 'He- he… he *married* Yoongi?'

He spat the last word out, his eyes blazing with a hatred that could melt the finest steel. His father, Lord Kim, stepped forward, his face pale as he tried to calm his son. 'Taehyung, please, calm down. We can-'

'Calm down?' Taehyung scoffed, a harsh laugh escaping his lips. 'How can I calm down when my own brother has stolen… *stolen* Yoongi from me?'
