After a while he stopped crying and finished his Almond tofu.
He then sighed and looked at me.

"Can you please step a few centimeters back?" Xiao asked in a soft voice.
I looked at him confused and stepped back.

"Is something wrong?" I asked a bit concerned.
"My Karma is going to hurt you. Even though for some reason you can take more of it than normal humans, it's going to hurt you at some point and that's simply something I want to avoid."
The teal haired boy said.

"But why, I'm just a normal human?"
I asked, a bit confused about his concern.

Xiao looked to the side hiding a small blush that creeped up his cheeks.
"Because it's my duty to protect people."
He said thinking 'and because you're an important person and I don't want to loose you'

"I have to go now Zhongli called."
And with that Xiao disappeared.

I sighed and went into my room in the inn, then I decided to take a bath.
I took my clothes off and went into the bathroom and turned the water on.

I watched how the water slowly filled up the tub.
As it was full I turned the water of and stepped into the bathtub.

It was so warm and comfortable that I nearly fell asleep, so I washed myself let the water out and wrapped a towel around my body.

I dressed in comfortable clothes and dried my hair.

I fell into my bed exhausted and immediately fell asleep.

As I woke up I felt a light breeze of wind brushing over my face.
I looked up, seeing my window open, looking like someone has watched me while sleeping.

I dresses in my normal clothes and went down stairs, just to see Xiao with Zhongli talking about someone.

"You need to tell her Xiao, I'm sure she won't reject it." Zhongli said.

"But-" The teal haired boy wanted to answer, as the other male put a hand over his mouth.

"Hello Y/n, how are you?" He asked in a friendly tone.
