l𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫: 𝟔 -𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞-

"NO! I'm not smiling!!"
He said and looked away.

Xiao let go of me and sat on the balcony railing.
"What do you want to order, mortal?"

I rolled my eyes then leaned in.
"Almond tofu."
I said quietly into the teal-haired-male's ear.

"Stop it Y/n."
He said looking back at me.

Suddenly I had an idea.
This time I leaned over him and acted like I couldn't hold myself due to the angle and let myself fall onto his lap.

"Huh? What are you doing?"
Xiao asked, looking a bit flustered while trying to push me off of his lap.

Rubbing my eyes I looked at the adepti.
"I'm tired..."
Then I snuggled against him and closed my eyes.

The teal-haired boy sighed and picked my up.
"I'm gonna bring you to your room alright?"
So, he started to carry me bridal style to my room.

Feeling comfortable I buried my face into his chest and fell asleep.

I woke up still cuddled against Xiao and felt him gently stroking my hair.

"Oh look who's awake."
A groggy voice coming from Xiao said, then he sighed.
"You wouldn't let go so I had to bring you to bed like this."

I nodded and sat up, finding myself in my room.
The familiar smell of almond tofu reached my nose and I looked at my nightstand.
There was a plate of almond tofu on it with a fork.

The teal-haired boy shrugged and said.
"I was hungry so I bought Almond tofu."

I don't know what but something about that was funny and caused me laugh.
"Of course that's typical of you."

Xiao looked confused at me.
"Why are you laughing?"

I stopped laughing and shrugged.
"I don't know either. By the way what's with Mr. Zongli and Hu Tao? Do they know that we're here?"

He seemed to think then answered.
"I have a room here too so, they'll probably think we're both in our own rooms."

Extra:

Zhongli was sitting on a chair in a thinking position.
"Where could they be..."

Hu Tao was glaring at Zhongli.
"I told you to not send them away!"

Zhongli rolled his eyes, then said.
"Guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow."
