Mobile Task Force Tau-1, designated via the code name Big Brother, is the Mobile Task Force first created after the discovery of SCP-096. Tau-1, due to its danger of containing SCP-096, is armed well hosting at least eight V-22 Ospreys, an EG-3 Sentry AWACS, multiple helicopters, and at least one Stryker APC. Tau-1 was dispatched during Incident 096-1-A when SCP-096 aggro on a SCP-096-1 for looking at its face through 4 tiny pixels. SCP-096 passed through 3 towns that were succesfully blindfolded, but in town 3 where SCP-096-1 was located, chaos spread as on duty Tau-1 soldiers opened fire on the crowd.
Tau-1 was originally equiped with SCRAMBLER GOGGLES. However they were messed with by their creator Dr. Dan, who in his goal to kill 096, intensionally messed with them allowing Tau-1 operatives to see glimpses of its face. The resulting massacre wiped out the entire MTF Squad minus 4 operatives.
After Incident SCP-096-1-A Dr.Dan was given permission to kill 096, with the condition he himself will be terminated when the job is done.
INCIDENT SCP-096-1-A
After the orchestrated escape of SCP-096 went as planned, Tau-1 was dispatched to follow and contain the anamoly. Using eight V-22 Ospreys, Tau-1 pursued 096 across the I-40 freeway towards the western United States. Tau-1 also procceded to gather the townsfolk of three towns on 096's predicted path, blindfolding them. 096 ran through these towns with no casualties; however, in the fourth town where SCP-096-1 was, several civilians removed their blindfolds, resulting in Tau-1 members executing them. 096 soon arrived and barreled through the crowds, finding 096-1 and killing him.
However as mentioned before, the SCRAMBLER GOGGLES were useless and the resulting Bloodbath was horrific. The rest of Tau-1 were slaughtered after accidentally seeing 096's face, to the point where only 4 survived. After one of the survivors managed to bag 096 from behind therefore ending the operation, he gave a report on the incident and a small rant about the ineffectiveness of the SCRAMBLER GOGGLES.
Tau-1 was later reinstated into the MTF System when the faulty SCRAMBLER GOGGLES were fixed and verified as the official equipment of all MTF.
