Chapter - 224

Days passed. Draw ceremony for the world championship commenced. The foreign teams were quite surprised to know that Smiling is on break for some time and Lu Yue will be replacing her on the team. The foreign players were actually eager to meet Smiling but were disappointed since she was not in the arena. Even though she was not playing. She wanted to watch the draw ceremony. So, she went with the team. She was with Ming God and Xiao Rui inside the breakroom.

The draw ceremony finished and teams were divided. To their surprise, it was exactly like last year, only one team was misplaced.

Group A : OP ; CK ; TIME ;TANK ; YQCB ; RCB

Group B : ZGDX ;TAT ; G4 ;SUN ;MOON ;BBQ

Tong Yao : This grouping is much similar to our previous season, only TAT and OP got misplaced.

Ming God : Exactly!!

Xiao Rui : But we have TAT on our group!! Hope we can retain the trophy.

Tong Yao : We will!! Our boys worked hard to reach here. They will definitely win another championship title for sure!!

After the draw ceremony, they all dispersed to get inside the bus and go back to bases. Just then only the foreign team members saw Tong Yao. They all were shocked to see her big stomach, only then they understood the real reason for her sudden break from scene. She happily waved and smiled at those players who also waved at her. After that the team got inside the bus and returned to their base.

Days went by!! World championship was proceeding. ZGDX was working hard. Lu Si Cheng was concentrating on the matches as well taking care of his wife as well. She was entering her 9th month. He was tensed and anxious. When ZGDX is having match, Jinyang will accompany her, since she cannot be left alone. ZGDX was able to maintain their winning streak. First phase finished in a blink of eye. It was quite surprising that Yue was able to attack Tai with his skills. Well all thanks to Tong Yao as she taught Yue how to attack Tai!! ZGDX topped the Group B with zero loss, followed by TAT.

Finals were scheduled on 27th october. The first phase ended on 7th October. With one day gap, the second phase started. That was also passing fastly. It was october 12 ; Lu Si Cheng and Tong Yao's first wedding anniversary. It was so much special for both of them because, soon, they are inviting their tiny little babies, symbol of their love, to this world. That day he had a match, but still after coming back, they celebrated their wedding anniversary with the team happily. Second Phase also went smoothly. Quarter finals also got over with four semi finalist. OP; CK ; ZGDX ; TAT.

Semi finals were scheduled on 22 and 23rd october. In between Tong Yao's checkup for 36 weeks went smoothly as well. Finally after the semi finals, the finalists were declared and it was none other than ZGDX and OP. The day arrived. Lu Si Cheng was getting ready to go for the finals. Tong Yao came near him and made him wear the uniform jacket. She cupped his face and kissed his forehead.

Tong Yao : All the best Si Si. You worked hard you reach this level. Bring the championship back to our country. Do the best!!

Lu Si Cheng : I will!!

He hugged her. Then he put his hand over the belly, " Dadda is going for the finals. See you soon little ones!! We will return with the world championship trophy!!"

Tong Yao : Come on!! I will see you guys off!! Are the other teams, coming to watch the match?

Lu Si Cheng : The foreign teams returned. The other teams from our region is coming to watch the match. Jinyang and Meili will be here with you okay!!

Tong Yao : I know!! The girls are already in living room.

Lu Si Cheng : Okay, then!! Lets go!!

Tong Yao sent the boys to the arena happily and then sat back with the girls to watch the match. Mrs.Lu was on the way to the base. The girls chatted for some time, and soon Mrs.Lu also joined them. After 1 hour the match started.

Jinyang : I really hope we can retain our trophy this year as well. Look arena is full, all the 11 chinese teams are there to watch the match.

Tong Yao : Yes!! Its amazing.

The finals were best of five. The first two rounds were won by ZGDX but the third and fourth round was won by OP making it a tie. It was 15 minutes break time. The players went inisde the break room.

Ming God : Boys...next round is ver crucial. We have to win the round.

Lu Yue : We will!! We will once again win the championship.

The boys nodded. Soon they were called upon stage. Meanwhile on the base, Tong Yao was watching the boys entering the stage. She stood up to grab the water since she felt thirsty. Just then she stood up, she felt something wet down her dress. She looked down and saw water flowing through her legs, followed by a mild pain on her stomach. " Mu..Mummma...I think..my...my water bro..broke!!" She said holding her stomach.

Jinyang : Shit!! Where is the hospital bag?

Tong Yao : In the corner of out bedroom.

Jinyang : Meili...go and start the car. Here take my keys. I will grab the hospital bag. Aunty Lu..support her.

Jinyang rushed inside the bedroom to get the hospital bag. Here Tong Yao started tp feel the contractions. " Mumma...the pain is increasing!!" She said while crying.

Mrs.Lu : Nothing Yao...nothing...everything will be fine. We will reach the hospital soon.

Jinyang and Mrs.Lu took her to the car. Meili put the luggage inside the car, and lockes the house and took the keys. She then started the car to the hospital. On the way Jinyang called Doctor Lin, since Tong Yao gave her the number.

Jinyang : Hello, doctor Lin. This is Chen Jinyang!! Lu Yao's friend. Actually Yao's water broke, she is having contractions as well. We are on our way to hospital.

Doctor Lin : Okay!! I am here!! Bring her quickly...

Jinyang : Okay doctor!!

" Mummma..." Tong Yao was crying loudly since the contractions were increasing. " Hold on a bit Yao Yao...we are about to reach the hospital." Said Mrs. Lu.

Tong Yao : Mumma...Mumma...please let Si Si..know that babies are about to come.

Mrs.Lu : We will let them know, Yao. You are a strong girl right!! It will be fine...

Here Jinyang was repeatedly calling Jian Yang and Ai Jia to inform the situation. She then called Heirophant. Luckily he picked the call.

Heirophant : Yes, Jinyang!! Match is still going on...

Jinyang : No..ge..Yao Yao is under labour pain. We are taking her to the hospital. I tried called Jian Yang and Ai Jia. Both are not picking the call. Cheng ge and others phone will be on silent mode. Please inform them. We reached hospital!! Will call you later!!

Heirophant : Okay Okay!! I will inform them.

Ai Jia saw him talking, so he turned to heirophant, " What is it?"

Heirophant : Where is your phone?

Ai Jia : Oh shit!! My phone is on silent mode!!

Heirophant : Smiling is under labour. The girls took her to hospital. You guys sit here. I will go and inform Rui and Ming. That brat is on stage!!

Heirophant stood and ran to back stage. From corner of eyes, Lu Si Cheng saw it. Heirophant entered the break room, " Ming, Rui..." He called out!!

Ming God : Heirophant!! What happened?

Heirophant : Smiling is taken to the hospital. Her contractions started. Mrs.Lu is with her. Since Chessman is on stage and match is still going on, somebody should reach the hospital now!!

Ming God : I will go!! You two stay here and calm that man!! He will get tensed hearing the news.

Heirophant : Okay...go fast!!

Ming God took his phone and quickly caught a cab and went to the hospital. " I hope my sister and her kids are fine..." He murmered, closing his eyes for a second inside the cab!!
