"Let me escort you to your chambers. I'm sure you are exhausted." Jacaerys stood up and extended his hand towards me with a smile. His features, his kindness. I loved it all, but he wasn't Aemond.

I took his hand with a smile, the feeling of being stared at grew as I stood up. I figured it was only Larys minions creeping about the castle. Seeing who came and went.

Jacaerys intertwined our fingers as we walked, rubbing circles, on the back of my hand, with his thumb.

After what left like an eternity, we stopped at my chamber door, my sworn protector Joff Baratheon stood there watching Jacaerys.

Joff was a tall, muscular man. His beard and eyebrows overgrown ever so slightly, my father was convinced someone could harm us all, so he assigned us all a sworn protector.

"Today was very lovely. Thank you, prince Jacaerys." I smiled, I'd come to notice I smiled a lot in his presence. Maybe it was my politeness, or I just genuinely enjoyed our time together.

"I enjoyed your presence, princess." We stood there awkwardly, I assume waiting for me to leave.

"As did I." I smiled as i took a few steps into my quarters and closed the door. I hit someone chest, and that frightened me. I hesitantly looked up, just to see Aemond staring down at me.

"You enjoyed his presence?" Aemond asked, his voice dripping with disgust. His face showed an expression of repulsion.

"Aemond..what is the meaning of this?" He hadn't given me time to accept he was in front of me.

"Don't change the subject, you enjoyed his presence?" His voice became low, threatening almost, he brought his face closer to mine. Our lips inches away.

"So what if I did?" I wasn't going to let him see me like a child. I wasn't going to shrink anytime he got upset.

"Is he better than me? Is he more handsome than me? What is it that you fancy about him?" Aemond started to step closer, now not only were his lips inches from mine, but his tall body was almost completely pressed up against me.

"Aemond, what are you saying? Have you gone mad?" As the words left my mouth he grabbed my neck, he had a firm grip on me. It wasn't enough to hurt me, just enough to keep me there.

"Seeing you with him, Elaena, gods only know how much that kills me." He whispered, his nose digging into my sensitive skin, as if he was inhaling me. His once closed eye opened and place one singular kiss on my neck.

"Aemond..." I couldn't help myself, the teasing, it was all too much, I let out a sharp gasp. At that he finally pulled away from me, my body reacting to the lack of contact.

I opened my eyes and Aemond just stared at me, his eye full of resentment. He looked me up and down, his face not changing. He was disgusted by me.

"You disgust me." He spat, I was speechless, he had never talked to me like this, a minute ago he was kissing me and now he's angry at me? Was he insane?

"Then why? Why do all of this?" I wanted so desperately to be angry with him. Any normal person would have just asked for their time. Not sneak into their chambers.

"You drive me insane." His eye never leaving mine. He looked down at me, my lips, my dress. "You are intoxicating. An obsession I cannot, for as long as I have tried to, shake. You. You, you've brought me to madness." He stepped closer to me, this time he didn't touch me, he just looked down at me, his expression breaking.

"Aemond... I haven't meant to do what you claim I have." I stared at him, he was beautiful. I never gotten this close to him. Never enough to see the true colors of his eyes, his scar peaking from under his eyepatch. The way his lips naturally curled up into a malicious smirk. He was truly enchanting.

"Does not matter if you meant to do it or not. You have made me crave you, since the first time I saw you staring outside of that window, you have consumed my mind. You've become a parasite that doesn't want to leave my mind, and as far as I am concerned, I don't think I'd ever want you to." He stayed there, staring at me, awaiting my response. Yet I didn't have one. I hadn't known he felt this way.

"You, Elaena, have enchanted my very soul. I am in love with you, I'd give my life for yours." He walked up to me again, but this time he cupped my face, caressing my cheeks with his thumb. He leaned in a brushed his lips against mine, as he looked into my eyes. Searching for any reason, or any protest I may have had, yet I had none.

As much as I had not wanted to admit this, but I'd wanted this since he'd grown into himself. I was the only one to notice his shift in demeanor, yet I'd say nothing. Not out of fear, but because it was none of my business.

I leaned the rest of the way and placed my lips directly on his. It didn't take long for him to push back into the kiss. His grip on my face grew ever so slightly, as it moved down to my neck. I placed my hands on his arms, he was gentle yet rough.

The way his hands felt on me was gentle. As if he didn't want to break me, as if he cared. But the kiss expressed hunger, a want, a need.

He pulled away, he stared at me as if I was mad. Even if he started the whole thing, he caressed my face a bit more before turning and leaving through the secret passage way he had entered from. He didn't turn to look back at me. He left me there, wanting him. Craving him. Needing him.
