Chapter 4: favor

Dunk's POV

After the shooting of the music video was done, people were already cleaning things up when Pond suddenly came to me and set me aside.

Dunk: What is it? I asked in confusion.

Pond: The manager found me a place to stay, so you don't have to drive me to your condo.

I was about to say something when my manager called me.

Manager: Can you take Joong to his condo? I'm driving Pond to his new apartment tonight.

Dunk: What about Joong's manager? Why can't she take him? I asked in confusion.

Manager: She's sick at the moment, that's why I sent him here. Just do this one favor for me, alright?

I nodded and walked towards Joong, but to my surprise, he was already looking at me. As I walked closer, he seemed more confused.

Dunk: Joong, my manager said that I should take you back home.

Joong: What about Pond?

I laughed as I helped him with his stuff.

Dunk: No, my manager is taking him to his new place. Let's go, then.

Joong nodded as he followed me to my car. As we both got in the car, I felt awkward, so I put some music on and started driving.

Joong: Since when have you and Pond been friends?

Dunk: Us? Since elementary, Pond left the country in high school, so we didn't see each other for 4 to 5 years.

Joong: When did you guys meet again?

Dunk: At the audition 4 years ago.

Joong looked at me with shock.

Joong: 4 years?! That's a long time?

I laughed at the way he said it with shock.

Dunk: I know, right? Time flies so fast.

Joong: So you guys didn't go to high school or college together?

I shook my head no as I continued to drive. After a few minutes of driving, I got hungry.

Dunk: Aren't you hungry?

Joong: Not really.

I laughed as I heard his stomach rumbling.

Joong: Maybe I am.

He admitted to his defeat.

Dunk: I'll stop by the food place before sending you home then.

Joong nodded as I drove to the place. After a few minutes, we arrived.

I opened the door of the small place and sat down as Joong followed behind me.

Worker: Is this your boyfriend? First time I've seen you with someone.

I looked at Joong, and he looked a bit flustered.

Dunk: He's not my boyfriend.

I laughed as the worker gave Joong the menu. After a few minutes, the food arrived.

Dunk: You sure you can handle that? Don't you think that's a bit spicy?

Joong: I've only put a little; it probably won't be that spicy.

After eating, we walked back to the car. I opened the door, and I started driving. After a few minutes, we finally got to Joong's apartment.

Dunk: See you tomorrow at the recording, Joong.

I smiled, waving bye. Joong waved back as we both went our separate ways.
