Beneath a blanket of stars I was standing, the faded sounds of the waves and a Spanish song floated to my ears as I was preparing a drink for a customer. When suddenly a girl wrapped in a beautiful red dress entered and sat next to the counter. Her hair was opened, mildly swaying due to the wind, her eyes were sparkling as they were covered with pearl like tear drops. They reflected the starry sky. Her mascara was slightly smudged. The red dress beautifully wrapped her curves. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear revealing a bruise on her cheek bone. Soon my mind was occupied with curiousity but my eyes were struck at her ethereal beauty.
Amidst my thoughts emerged a sharp feminine voice---"3 shots please." It was her. "Yes ma'am, Rihan at your service." I responded to her order and served her the shots. I stood there astonished about how she finished the drinks within no time. "5 more shots." She commanded again. I could not hold my curiosity any longer and finally spoke up---"Ma'am is somebody going to accompany you or you're gonna have that alone?" "Just serve me the drinks." I felt the frustration in her tone. I didn't speak to her anymore because she was a mere customer and moreover I would be accused of being clingy.
As I began to wrap things up to leave, I didn't see her moving even a bit. I thought maybe she was asleep. So I tried to wake her up. "Ma'am,.....miss....madame...." I called her several times but got no response. I was scared and anxious at the same time. I started panicking but somehow I called an Uber. I boarded with her, booked a hotel nearby, escorted her to her room safely and left for home.
