Shots And Dates

Ever since that night when she vent to me, all my mind could think of is about her. She would often visit the bar. Even in a crowded room full of unfamiliar faces, my eyes would always aim for that one familiar face, that tender smile and those peaceful sapphire eyes whose one glare would provide solace.
Avery, she never stopped visiting me but like before we could not talk. She would sit at a specific corner of the room and stretch her lips while glaring at me or sometimes raise her glass towards me as a sweet gesture while I would be busy serving customers. After all that happened I never plucked up enough courage to proceed a conversation with her confidently.

It was 8:30 PM, her usual time to visit, as always I was standing next to the counter pretending to work but my eyes were fixed on the door. I was keenly watching the door, waiting for it to open and watch the most beautiful lady arrive. DING...a sound that stroke through all my thoughts and caught my eye on the silver painted wooden door through which entered a woman whose eyes were enough to captivate me. She wore a red gown which perfectly wrapped her goddess like figure and her messy shoulder length hair made her entire look adorable yet elegant. My eyes were fixated on her smile which ignited my entire soul. Suddenly a slow song started to play. With a lot of courage I walked towards her. "Hey!" I said. "Hey" She replied and giggled.
---"The song is pretty good right?"
---"yeah..yeah, quite good. It's actually my favorite."
---"well I didn't know that. How about a dance?" I questioned while extending my right arm towards her. Her eyes sparkled as they reflected the moonlight while she put her palm in my hand and nodded yes which accompanied her tender smile. I grabbed her palm and put it on my shoulder as I grabbed her waist and gently pulled her towards me. I was captivated in the blanket of scent of her addictive perfume. Her warm breaths fell on my chest. She gently rested her head on my chest through which she could hear the throbbing of my heart. She lifted her head and locked her gaze with mine. Her eyes were speaking the words she couldn't. They were filled with affection and clarity, her face enlightened under the moonlight, everything seemed to be perfect. With little steps each time we moved back and forth and synced with each other. My both hands slowly slided down her waist as she rubbed her fingers against my shoulder sending a slight electrical spark each time. Although our feet were moving but our eyes were fixated on each other's, studying every detail of each other's faces, not external features, internal ones, those features which are unspoken, which could only be studied, not told. Suddenly she broke the gaze and grabbed my wrist as we both exited from the bar.

Ik this chapter took a lot of time as I couldn't complete this until I got home (yup I was outside, enjoying a good vacay lol)
