Three months had passed since we all left Forks. This time it wasn't a surprise that we were leaving. Carlisle told the hospital that he wanted to be close to his children and his grandchild. Emmett and I did make the trip to Ireland and stayed with friends of Carlisle who were shocked and amazed by Jace. They were happy about our diet or the fact that we acted like every other human. They like to keep to themselves and stay hidden. Maggie was the only one that asked questions and even tried our way of life. It wasn't for her but that was fine as we didn't try to push our lifestyle on anyone.
"Jace! Grandpa is on the phone!" I yelled at my son as he played in the backyard of our new place with his father. He grew faster than normal children but it was slow enough that you couldn't tell too much. And since we were new around here no one noticed that our six month old now looked to be closer to one. Emmett scooped him up and walked over to me. I sighed as I handed him the phone.
"Carlisle?" Emmett said as we walked back into the house. "Yeah ok hold on!" He said before he pulled the phone away from his ear and put it on speaker. "Ok we are both here!" He said and I frowned even more.
"We need you to come back!" He said and I frowned even more as I placed Jace on the floor to play with his toys.
"Why?" I asked as I was confused as to why we needed to return.
"Yeah why? What changed to make you want us to come back?" Emmett asked as he moved to the kitchen and I followed him. I took one last look at Jace before I stood next to my husband.
"We received a call today!" He said but there was something in his voice. Something I wasn't sure I had ever heard in his voice before. Uncertainty? "Edward left Forks not long after us. He never went to the pack. He has been traveling as a nomad. And Irina went to the Volturi!" He said and I sighed.
"And what does this have to do with us?" I asked as we had all wanted to get the Volturi involved in the first place.
"Edward called and wanted us to help protect the pack!" He said and I laughed at that.
"You're joking right? They want to kill him and he wants to protect them?" Emmett asked and I knew this had more to do with Bella and not the pack.
"We all know that it is more about Bella." He said with a sigh. "But the pack also needs our help. We at least owe them our help." He said and I scoffed at that. "I know you have all washed your hands of what happened there but I am asking you for your help." He said and I huffed as he knew we would help him.
"Fine we will be there!" Emmett said and I shook my head before I walked away from him and the phone call. "To make this clear we are only coming to stop them. I will not let my wife fight for the mutts that wanted us all dead." he said and I shook my head.

I sighed as I saw the Welcome to Forks sign. Neither one of us wanted to be back here but it would make it easier to get the rest of our things from our house. And put them in storage. We arrived at the house and I frowned as it was empty. "We had movers come and take everything out. And moved it to the new house." Esme said as she noticed us looking around. I moved Jace as he was sound asleep in my arms.
It wasn't much longer before Everyone else showed up. I sighed when Edward walked into the house. "Can someone please tell me why we are helping?" Brooklyn asked and Edward frowned at her.
"Because they helped us!" Edward said, making most of us, to scoff at him.
"They helped you and Bella! Not the rest of us!" Ian said as he walked around the room. "So why should we help? I think we have done more than enough when it comes to the human blood slut." he said and I laughed at him.
"I have to agree!" Alice said as she stood next to Jasper who was right next to my wife.
"Can you please just hear us all out?" He said and I laughed again. He must have lost his mind. If he was asking us to hear him out.
"Why should we? When have you ever listened to anyone?" I asked as he just sighed and shook his head.
"I told you that they were unwilling to help! But you didn't want to listen!" Carlisle said as he walked in with Sam and Jacob. Brooklyn and Rosalie hissed at them before they held up their hands at her.
"We aren't here to fight you!" Jacob said as he looked over at Sam who nodded his head. "But we are asking for your help!" he said and this made Brooklyn hiss again.
"And why should we help you?" Rosalie asked as she took a step closer to them. Ian moved with her in case they were here to fight.
"We did help you with the newborns!" Jacob said and I laughed.
"We didn't ask for your help. You volunteered to help. Not just yourself but the pack as well! We never asked for your help." Jasper said as he glared at them. I was glaring now as well.
"Your friend wants us dead. For killing that leech that was going to kill Bella! After you all had left." Sam said and I laughed at him.
"Yet again that wasn't our call! Edward made that call! We never wanted to come back! Knowing what would happen when we did!" Ian said this time.
"Look unlike you! We are not just going to help because Edward said we would. Bella means nothing to any of us. She not our friend, not our family and none of us want to fuck her!" Brooklyn said with a smug smirk as she looked at Edward and Jacob
"Ain't that the truth!" I said before there was a loud gasp. We all turned to see Bella standing there looking hurt and about to cry.
"Of course she would have to be here!" Brooklyn whispered to me. I huffed as I glared at Edward. He looked just as hurt as Bella did.
"They are coming to kill us all! Not just me, but the pack and all of you!" She said as she walked in front of me and Brooklyn. "I get it now that you all don't want me to be a part of your coven. I get it that Emmett will never want me over Brooklyn. After you left I realized that everything that happened was first because of myself. And then Edward and myself. Then Jacob, Edward and myself. We made things worse no matter which way we went." She said and I had to agree with her there.
"Still doesn't mean we all need to help! And they aren't coming for us." Rosalie said as she wasn't buying her story. I don't think Brooklyn or Esme were either. Bella looked confused as she turned to Edward and he looked away from her.
"Edward?" She asked as she moved over to him. Jacob looked between us all.
"He only said they were coming after you so we wouldn't put up a fight." He said and we all nodded our heads.
"We didn't want Bella around and even tried to stay away from her." I said as I wrapped my arms around my son as he was starting to wake up.
"Aro saw what he needed to see in Edward and Alice's minds." Carlisle said as he moved to stand in front of us all. "I also went to him. I wanted him to know that whole story." He said and I sighed. "They were not happy about the pack but when I made it a point that you all weren't werewolves they agreed to leave you be!" He said as he turned to Edward. "I also found out why Iriana went to them." He said getting all of us to truly listen to him. "But I will only tell you if the whole pack is here. They have a right to know the truth!" He said, making Bella look scared as she looked over at each and every face.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Sam said as he eyed Carlisle.
"Because it is bad! But not what you think!" Carlisle said and Sam nodded his head before walking outside to contact the other members of his pack.
