Harry continued to sit at Tim's feet. He didn't like sitting in furniture. He didn't when he was growing up, and he didn't in Azkaban. So it didn't make sense to do it anywhere else. He leaned against Tim, watching as the family filed in. He had hoped to evade their notice, but of course, he wasn't able to. "Harry? Why are you sitting on the floor? There are plenty of chairs." Harry looked up at Bruce, before looking away, and saying, "I'm fine. The floor is nice." Bruce screwed up his brows for a moment, before Alfred gave him a look. Bruce immediately shut his trap, refusing to risk getting in trouble. "Young Master Harry, there are much better options than the floor. I assure you, no one will be upset if you avail yourself of them." Harry looked at Alfred, then at Tim, before quickly sitting in a chair next to them.

Dumbledore couldn't help pacing his office. He knew he messed up. He had expected a few months to get Harry to fall in line, but instead, he was adopted? He had no clue as to where the boy was, and no plan in his to get him back. He would need to figure it out though, the chosen one could not be allowed to be out of his claws. The boy had to learn to defeat Tom, and how could he do that in loving home? He couldn't. He would get him back. He just had to find him first...

Tim had noticed the marks on his back, but when Harry was asked his life before them... he wouldn't say a thing. All they got out of him, was his aunt and uncles names. Petunia and Vernon Dursley. Now, looking them up, Tim can't help but be horrified. The man looks like a human whale, covered in so much fat it's a wonder he can work. And the woman... she's barely more than skin and bones. Even she looks to be in decent shape compared to Harry. It's obvious they abused him... and Tim would make them pay.
