Before I get started with this whole fan-created TV Tropes thing, I just want to give a special shout-out to the website itself and those who are users on it for all the amazing work you've put in for the site that introduced me to the world of tropes. I have learned so much about multiple franchises and more thanks to the power of this site and I have to thank it and its users for helping me to further my knowledge in this way.

That being said, the fanfics that got TV Tropes pages of their own always seemed to be one of the most interesting parts of the site for me. To have enough tropes that you need entire pages dedicated to a fanfic, that seems like an amazing achievement in and of itself. To those fanfic authors who have achieved this feat, this is not out of any negative feelings towards your achievements. On the contrary, I find your achievements to be very significant in their own rights and well deserved on your part.

The real reason I'm doing this on my own is simple — partially for my own amusement, and partially just to explain things about characters that I haven't really explained or have yet to be explained in the fanfic series this is about (Heart Pierced, now in its second book "Hearts Crossed" and the unfinished Alternate Universe series of this "Keeper Of Their Hearts", still in the first book which is of the same name), such as what powers does the Monster King and Queen have, as well as allow people to view the characters of the series in a more dissected manner, for many characters are canon characters of the Percy Jackson franchise that one could argue are being used in a way that other fanfics haven't, Michael Yew being probably the most prevalent.

I mean, there is just so much potential in side characters in this franchise that rarely gets used in these fanfics, with only some attempts being made here and there in fanfics that focus on side characters either prior to their canon deaths or during other parts of the story, almost never in the parts of the timeline after the point they have canonically died — with the character still living and having avoided their canon fate due to one reason or another. It's a concept that I myself have touched on in two of my other unfinished fanfics, "Freezing: The Boy That Pandora Wanted — Book One" which in all honesty even to me I find it as a rather unusual take of mine on a crossover of the anime and manga series with Star Wars as well as "Attack On The C.I.S", a take on an Attack On Titan and Star Wars crossover in which instead of the Empire getting involved as someone else in the past (their fanfic being gone by now) had done, it's the Confederacy Of Independent Systems aka the Separatists getting involved during the Battle of Trost, sparking some of the most interesting crossover fighting in my book — even if not explored fully. Because seriously, you wouldn't expect Battle Droids to be capable of defending the inside of a walled city against towering humanoid creatures. Yet the droids do just that despite not having been programmed for anti-Titan combat, making what they do seem all the more badass as a result.

But back to Percy Jackson — with some more mention of those two other fanfics. The main thing or theme all three of these share, as well as an unfinished Percy Jackson and Godzilla crossover that I have, is that by placing the main burden on one character who is more than competent enough to be able to change the fates of multiple characters simply by doing what they do, canon characters don't suffer as much as they did in canon because the surprising thing that connects Percy Jackson, Freezing, Attack On Titan and even Star Wars together is actually trauma and the lack of therapists to help with this that all of these universes share. Characters in each of these universes have gone through so much that realistically, you would have expected them to crack and break down under the pressure instead of somehow being able to power through like they do in canon, with too many examples to count. It's the plight of such characters that makes me shift the focus of main character in these fanfics not just from the actual main characters to my OCs who have to bear the brunt of the effort in making things better for the canon characters, but from the main canon characters to those canon characters with a lesser importance, the supporting cast. Some people may have problems with it, but for the most part, I see this as a way to open up the story to be viewed from new angles and new perspectives.

It's partially why fanfic writers with fanfics that explore this in a way of doing world building, like Archive Of Our Own user Laurellins with their fanfic "Tales Of Camp Half Blood", tend to have their chapters adapted and their works and themselves given shout-outs by me in "Heart Pierced" as well as in "Hearts Crossed" too with the most recent extra chapter. It is merely a way of showing my respect for those fanfic authors in how much I consider their works a sort of inspiration for what I write.

As for this fan-made TV Tropes page about both the Heart Pierced series and to a lesser extent the Keeper Of The Hearts expansion adaption, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First off, like actual TV-Tropes pages and unlike the fanfics themselves when completed, these pages are never set in stone even when published, as they are always subject to being updated when and where necessary as tropes can be changed due to how the story progresses. The second thing to note is that I am not an expert at doing TV Tropes, so even with the guidance of this site itself, some tropes may not be accurately applied to characters or misjudged — though for the most part, I try to limit these cases as much as possible.

If in the event, a user of TV Tropes does see this and does make an actual TVTropes page of all of this which would be a first for me, I would wish that said user would reach out to me first about this since I would find it quite nice if they could offer any advice and suggestions for corrections on tropes that I have misjudged or incorrectly applied here.

Other than that, these pages will contain SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't read the fanfics that these pages are made for, so for those of who are only just hearing of these fanfics for the first time, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you should read the fanfic material that this all comes from before checking out these pages specifically starting with Heart Pierced and then Hearts Crossed before checking out Keeper Of Their Hearts, and to also treat this as a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT as well since Heart Pierced contains so many twists and turns, as will Hearts Crossed too and the eventual sequel books, that you probably won't be looking at Percy Jackson the same way again — for reasons that generally you may find awesome.

With all that out of the way, hope you all enjoy this fan-made TV Tropes pages for these fanfics of mine!

A final note: I don't own Percy Jackson, Scooby Doo or TMNT or the Hunger Games (for some of the characters and concepts (TMNT-only) are brought in here as original versions of their canon counterparts just to not make this a crossover), and Equestria Girls, which crossovers with the series and PJO in Keeper Of Their Hearts series.
