Chapter 4

{Nash & Cameron's Apartment}
[Sophia's POV]
Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Ding Dong!
"I'll get it!" I yelled.
I went to the door and opened it. When I opened it Cam surprised me with fake flowers?
"Cam how did you know I was allergic to flowers?" I asked.
"I have my ways." He said and handed me the flowers.
"You asked Matt didn't you?" I said.
"Maybe..." He said looking away and scratching the back of his neck.
"You know you didn't have to." I said.
"I know, but I wanted to." He said looking back at me.
I just looked away.
"I still don't understand what you see in me. I'm a pile of shit." I said.
"You don't know your beautiful! Oh, oh! That's what makes you beautiful!" Cam sang.
"Um, Cam? Please don't tell me your dream is to become a singer?" I said.
"No, I'm an actor." He said.
"Really?! I'm trying to become an actor. That's the reason I moved to LA." I explained.
"Well I'm glad you did." Cam said.
"So you wanna go?" He asked and put his hand out.
"Yes, yes I do!" I said taking his hand.
He pulled me out the door and I closed the door behind me.
•7:35 AM•
{In Cameron's Car}
We got in Cameron's car and put on our seat belts.
"Did I mention you looked perfect today?" Cam said looking over to me.
"Nobody's perfect Cam." I said.
"But you're not a nobody, you're a somebody." He said putting his hand on my upper thigh.
I got a little stiff and he noticed.
"Oh, um sorry." He said taking his hand off.
He started to drive and I put on the radio to come across to...
You're insecure, don't know what for, you're turning heads when you walk through the door, don't need makeup, to cover up, being the way that you are is enough
"Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you..." Cam sang.
"Baby you light up my word like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair get me overwhelmed, but when you smile at ground it ain't hard to tell, you don't know, oh, oh! You don't know you're beautiful, oh, oh! That's what makes you beautiful!" We sang.
We laughed like we were crazy when the song ended.
"We make a good duo." Cam said.
"Oh puh-leez Cam! You were WAY off key." I said giggling.
"Excuse me! You were the one off key. I just wasn't trying to be mean to you." He said laughing.
"Say what you wanna say Cam." I said.
The rest of the ride was us just goofing off.
•7:55 AM•
{IHOP}
[Cameron's POV]
We got to IHOP and went inside. IHOP was empty. We were the only people inside. We found a table with a nice view outside where all the trees and sky were.
"Finally! Thank god someone shows up! Hi welcome to IHOP! My name is Trish and I'll be your server today!" She said.
"Hey I'm Cameron and this is Sophia. What happened to all the people? I asked.
"Well LA is a busy town and people are trying to become famous that they forget to sit down and have a nice meal. So here's the menu and call me when you've decided." Trish said and left.
"So promise me you won't be like one of those famous people that won't sit down to have a nice meal like Trish said?" Sophia said.
"Of course I won't do that. I know when fame is getting to me and when not." I replied back.
"Good because I like this Cameron." She said and I smiled.
"So you said you don't know anything about me. What do you want to know? I said.
"When your birthday?" She asked.
"September 8th." I replied.
"When's your birthday?" I asked.
"June 8th." She replied.
"Wait you're older than me?" I said all shocked.
"Yeah by like what? 3 months?" She said.
"You look younger than me." I said.
"Is it because I'm shorter than you?" She said.
"No that not what I meant. I-oh look bacon." I said pointing at the menu.
"So what do you want to order?" I asked.
"Chocolate chip pancakes with bacon on the side and apple juice!" We said at the same time and laughed.
"I order that every time I go to IHOP" I said.
"Me too! Back in Virginia Matt would always complain about me getting the same thing all the time, because it wasn't good for my diet. But what does he know anything about nutrition and health?!" She said.
Trish came back and we told her what we wanted. She wrote it down and left. Then Sophia told me all these stories and adventures she went on when she was in Virginia with her family and friends.
"I miss them so much." Sophia said all sad.
"You don't think you're-" I said.
"Homesick? Yeah I think I am." She said finishing my sentence.
"But you left Virginia a day ago. How're you already homesick?" I said.
"Maybe because I love my family and I have a heart?" She said all meanly.
"Sorry I didn't want to sound mean." Sophia said apologizing.
"You don't have to apologize, I get it. When I left my family to go on the Magcon Tour I was also homesick, but then I thought of the fans and how they would be disappointed if I didn't show up." I said.
"That was the most non-idiotic thing you've said since I got here." She said.
"Thanks! Wait what?!" I said.
"Oh look, the pancakes and bacon are here!" Sophia said trying to change the subject.
Trish put down what we ordered and smiled.
"Enjoy you two love birds." She said.
"Oh, no we're not dating! You see-" Sophia said.
"Thanks Trish!" I said cutting her off.
"Welcome!" Trish said and left.
"Cam!" Sophia said.
"What?! Let her think what she wants to think!" I said.
"Oh Cam! What am I gonna do with you?" Sophia said.
We filled our plates with pancakes and bacon and ate.
"Cam it's your turn to tell me about yourself now." Sophia said.
"Fine." I said.
I told her what happens in LA, how I've already filmed two movies and that my first movie is out on Netflix.
"American Odyssey!" She said.
"What?" I asked.
"American Odyssey! That's where I've seen you from!" She said.
"Oh so you didn't know me because of Matt? You know he was also on that Magcon Tour I was on also?" I said.
"Yeah and I was in college at the time, so I didn't pay attention to that." She said.
"So you watch American Odyssey?" I asked.
"Eh, I only watched one episode and you were in that episode." She said.
We finished up our breakfast, payed and left.
"Thank you." Sophia said.
"Why are you thanking me Sophia?" I asked.
"I'm thanking you for being so nice to me when I'm rude to you, for the flowers, for the breakfast, for bumping into me." She said.
"I should be thanking you." I said.
"For what?" She asked.
"Does there have to be a reason?" I said.
"No there doesn't have to be a reason." She said.
"And Cam? You can call me Soph." She said.
"Soph? I like it." I said.
We got into the car and drove off. What Soph didn't know was that I was gonna take her out onto the beach for a walk.
•9:00 AM•
{The Beach}
[Sophia's POV]
"We're here!" Cam said getting out of the car.
"Why'd you bring me to the beach?" I asked.
"So we could take a walk on it, duh." Cam said.
I took of my shoes and so did Cam. Then Cam put his hand out and I took it. We walked towards the beach and when we got on it the sand was burning my feet, but in a good way.
"The sand feels good." I said while Cam's fingers were intertwined with mine.
"Thanks Cam I needed this." I said looking at him.
I stopped moving and so did Cam. I hugged him and he rocked me back and forth. Then I heard a flash and so did Cam. We broke the hug and looked at each other.
"Paparazzi!" We both said and ran.
We looked back and there were two people chasing after us and taking pictures.
"Leave us alone!" I shouted.
Then another person came by and also chased us with a video camera and one of those microphones. I looked back another time to see what the guy's cap said: TMZ
"Cam they work for TMZ!" I said.
"Cameron is that your girlfriend?" The guys with the video camera asked.
We finally got to the car and got in. Cam started the car and drove. I was out of breathe and so was Cam.
"Damn, now that's why I also came to LA, for the fun. I mean yeah it was rude of them to interrupt our walk, but you gotta admit that was fun!" I said.
"Well you better get used to it if you wanna become an actor." Cam said.
I checked Twitter to see TMZ tweeted: @TMZ: Cameron Dallas + Mystery Girl = Girlfriend? Find out tonight at 7pm!
"Great TMZ already tweeted about us." I said.
"What's they tweet?" Cam asked.
"They tweeted that they're gonna show the pictures of us hugging and the pictures of us running with our hands locked in with each other." I said.
"Stupid paparazzi!" Cam said hitting the car wheel.
" I don't want you to get hate." He said.
"They don't even know me though." I said.
"Trust me they'll find out." Cam said.
"It's okay, I'm willing to take the hate. I mean fame isn't something that's easy to handle and if it means it comes with hate then I'm willing to take it." I said.
"You're not so bad after all." I said.
Cam's hand was on the gear stick and I put my hand on top of his, looked at him, and smiled.
•10:00 AM•
{At Nash & Cameron's Apartment}
Cam and I finally get back to the apartment and go inside. When we got inside the guy's were playing with a deck of cards.
"Go fish." Nash said.
"How's that possible! We're not even playing go fish!" Matt said and threw the cards he had in his hand on the table.
"Oh look who showed up. If it isn't Cameron Dallas and his mystery girl." Nash said.
"So you saw what TMZ tweeted." I asked.
"No shit we saw what TMZ tweeted! How come you didn't tell us before!" Nash exclaimed.
"We would've told you if oh i don't know... WE WERE DATING!" I said.
"You guys and your assumptions." I said.
"And where were you all morning young missy." Matt said with his hands in his hips.
"Sorry mom I went out to IHOP with a friend." I said.
"Yo, Cam! Hayes is flying from North Carolina to LA, then we're getting the guys together cause we're leaving for Hawaii tomorrow." Nash said.
"You guys are leaving?" I said.
"And so am I Soph." Matt said.
"Matt! How could you not tell me!" I said.
"Because then I would ruin the surprise duh." Matt said.
"What surprise?" I asked.
"YOURE COMING TO HAWAII WITH US!" They all said at the same time.
"WHAT?! How could you not tell me sooner! I need to pack and buy a bunch of new bikinis..." I said.
"Cam I'm borrowing your car." I said putting my hand out.
"Where're you goin'?" Cam asked.
"To the mall!" I said and Cam gave me his keys.
"Thank you!" I said and kissed his cheek. I grabbed my purse and left.
•11:00 AM•
{The Mall}
The best mall that sells the best bikinis was an hour away, but it was worth it! I went inside and went to the customize your own bikini shop because they sell some bikinis that were already printed on. I bought 10 bikinis:
1. A leopard print bikini
2. A bikini with coconuts on it
3. A bikini with palm tress on it
4. A bikini with ocean waves printed on it
5. A bikini with surfboards on it
6. A bikini with hula dancers on it
7. A bikini with ukuleles on it
8. A bikini with leis on it
9. A bikini with bananas on it in honor of the new minions movie
10. A bikini with minion on it because minions are so cute
I got everything I needed and I also got two pairs of sunglasses and payed for everything. I left the mall and drove back home.
•1:00 PM•
{Nash & Cameron's Apartment}
I got back and brought in all the shopping bags. I rang the doorbell and Cam opened the door.
"You're back!" Don't ever leave me for 2 hours with them again." Cam said and hugged me.
"Okay who needs to be grounded I said walking in.
"Um, coming mom!" Nash said.
"She's in North Carolina." I said.
"I know I wish she was here." He said running towards the living room couch.
"Cam six more hours until TMZ comes on" I said biting my bottom lip.
"It'll be fine." He said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Okay." I said.
"I have to go upstairs and unpack, but I got you these sunglasses." I said reaching into the bag and giving it to him.
"Thanks." He said and hugged me.
I ran upstairs and grabbed my suitcase. I started to fold all the new bikinis I bought and all the clothes I wanted to bring to the trip. I threw in a few flip flops and I was done packing! It took me 5 hours but I was finally done!
"Soph! TMZ is on!" Cam yelled.
I dashed down the stairs.
"Tonight on TMZ: Cameron Dallas + Mystery Girl = Girlfriend?" They said.
They showed the pictures of us eating at IHOP, walking on the beach, hugging, and running away from them.
"These two love birds were at IHOP then spotted on the beach for a lovely morning walk. Dallas has not confirmed it yet, but all you Cameron Dallas fans out there... keep a good eye on this girl. Sources say that this mystery girl is Matthew Espinosa's big sister, who's name is Sophia Espinosa. That's it for today's episode! It was short but gave you a lot of information!" The TMZ guy said and Cam turned off the tv.
"Well at least they got my name right." I said.
"I'm sorry." Cam said.
"Cam you're acting like this is all your fault." I said.
"Because it is! I should've taken you home right after we are at IHOP." Cam said getting all red.
"Fuck TMZ!" Cam said.
"Cam calm down I said it was fine. Cam look at me." I said and he looked up.
"The world was gonna find out about me anyways there was no point of me hiding." I said and without think I kissed him, but quickly stopped.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean too. It was an accident I-" I said but Cam smashed his lips on me.
It felt good I kissed back. His lips are so soft, I felt like I was in heaven. Then I heard another flash. I broke the kiss to see paparazzi out on our balcony.
"How the fuck did he get there?!" I said.
"I'm calling the police for invading my privacy." I told Cam.
"Just leave it alone Soph. Calling the police on paparazzi is gonna get you bad publicity." Cam said.
"Fine." I said and got up to close the curtains.
"Now where were we?" I asked.
