Chapter 12

-Monday August 24th, 2015-

{Mila's Apartment}

[Sophia's POV]

It's been about 4 weeks since Cam and I broke up. I talked to Mila about the situation and she said just give him the time to explain what really happened. I want to let Cam explain, but I'm afraid to let him back into my life again.

I decided to go over to Nash & Cameron's apartment and let Cam tell his side of the story.

•3:20 PM•

{Nash & Cameron's Apartment}

I got to their apartment building and went up to their apartment. I rang their doorbell and Nash opened the door.

"Soph?!" He said all surprised.

"What're you doing here?"

"I came to let Cam explain." I said.

"Um, Cam is a little busy." Nash said.

"Doing what?" I asked.

"Um, come to think of it he's not even here." Nash said nervously and scratched the back of his neck.

"Nash let me in." I said.

"I can't." He said.

I pushed Nash and went inside.

When I went inside I find Cameron with chocolate smeared all over his face and with a butter knife in his hand. He was also dancing and twerking Miley Cyrus. A few seconds later I hear a ding. Cam took oven mitts out and went to the oven. He took out a cake and set it on the counter. He turned around and saw me.

"How long have you been standing there for?" Cam said.

"Long enough to know that you're good twerker." I replied.

"Bro, I tried to stop her but she pushed me." Nash said running into the kitchen.

"Nash, you ruined the surprise." Cam whined.

"What surprise?" I asked.

"No, surprise. I just baked this cake because I'm fat." Cam said.

"Okay we all know you're not fat and seriously what's going on here?" I asked.

"Cam wanted to bake this cake for you to say he was sorry." Nash said explaining.

"Cam knows how to bake?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah, I was surprised too!" Nash said.

"The cake's not ready yet though." Cam said.

•4:20 PM•

{Nash & Cameron's Apartment}

Cam finished making and decorating the cake. Cam came out with the cake and I saw what he put in the cake. It said:

"I'm Berry Sorry Soph. You're Human & I Shouldn't Have Treated You Any Less. You Mean More To Me Than That Stupid Bet. Love Cam."

I couldn't believe he could fit all that in a cake.

"Awe, Cam!" I said.

"But cake isn't gonna fix everything."

"I understand." He said.

"Here's a piece a cake." He said cutting into the cake and handing me a slice.

"Eat very slowly."

"Um, okay." I said.

When I was about to eat the first bite, I noticed that something was in the cake. That's odd. I took it out and saw that it was a ring.

"Cam? Did you put this ring in my cake?" I asked.

"Yes, it's a promise ring." He said.

"Here let me wash it off."

He took the ring and headed towards the kitchen sink.

"Cam is a nice guy. He just needs time. He hasn't been in a relationship for a long time. His ex-girlfriend broke his heart so bad, that he couldn't take it anymore. Now that's why he goes around doing all these bets, so he won't end up being the one heartbroken." Nash said.

"I should've let him explain earlier." I said looking down.

"It's not your fault. You were sad, mad, and confused." Nash said.

"Thanks Nash I needed that .." I said hugging him.

Cam came back and kneeled down on one knee.

"Sophia Ann Espinosa, you make me the happiest person alive. When we broke up, I tore into a million pieces, just ask Nash. I'm not really a romantic guy, but I'll be romantic if that's what it'll take for you to be mine again. I don't know how I got those words out of my mouth .. I have trouble putting my thoughts and emotions into words. But will you be my girlfriend?" Cam said looking down after he said the last sentence.

Tears just started to form in my eyes. About 3 seconds later tears start to stream down my cheeks.

Happy tears.

"Did I say something wrong? Damn it, I knew I came off too strong! I should've let you process your thoughts, and-"

I kissed him.

We broke the kiss and looked at each other.

"That was the best way to make me shut up." He said and laughed.

"That kiss meant a yes .. Yes I'll be your girlfriend again. Just don't do something as stupid as that, EVER again!" I said and also laughed

Cam wiped the tears that I still had left with his thumb and we continued to eat.

If you guys were wondering where Matthew was during all this, he was filming his very first ever movie. 

Nash left us alone and It was just Cam and I watching Modern Family on the couch.

[Cameron's POV]

Sophia fell asleep in my arms and I kept watching TV. I still can't believe Soph said yes to me. I'm still wondering? Why? If I was her, I would've never forgiven me.

It was getting late, so I carried her to my room. I carefully put her in bed and took off my shirt and jeans, I put on my shorts and laid in bed right next. I kissed the top of her head, put my arm around her, and went to sleep.

||OMFG YOU GUYS MUST THINK I DIED, THEN CAME BACK TO LIFE AGAIN, THEN DIED AGAIN! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a month, but I will update a lot so much that you'll be like "at least she's not dead." Thank you guys for understanding and show some love to my book. New Chapters Coming Soon ..-H||
