Interview with Blue Diamond

1- An unexpected call

It was October 10th of 2015. I arrived at my home in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. I arrived like in 2 PM after a hour of travelling in a bus from the university. Luckily the train that occasionally passes through the city didn't decided to pass that day. When it passes the time of travelling prolongs. A lot. And it's worse when it's raining or with a lot of heat while you are standing up between a lot of people because there are no seats left.

But luckily that wasn't the situation that day. The first semester of my career was very easy for me, unlike the high school in which I suffered mentally to pass the subjects related to math and physics. Actually my entire career of History and Human Studies was much easier than the high school. Maybe because I enjoyed it.

As soon as I arrived I got a message on my cellphone from my girlfriend, Manuela Hidalgo. I will later introduce her properly. The message said that she would soon arrive at my home, bringing tamales from Veracruz so we can have a lunch together. I answered that it was great and that I will wait for her.

While everyday since July of that year Manuela trains with the famous King of Fighters Mexican Wrestler, Ángel Torres, in Veracruz in order to learn her fight style "Perfunctory❤", she manages to come to my house and eat with me, at least in the dinners and sleep with me. We started being a couple from since July of that year and it was great.

Since among the super powers of Manuela were the super speed and high stamina she could travel from Veracruz to Monterrey in less than a hour. The advantages of having an immortal super human girlfriend who is also a lesbian.

I put my backpack on a chair and entered the bathroom to do my necessities. Then the phone of my home ringed.

-Pero si acabo de entrar...- I said annoyed.

Finishing quickly and with my hands still wet I took the phone. For my surprise, the one that was Garnet, the leader of the Crystal Gems during that time.

-Abelardo, quickly, you need to go to Korea!- Garnet said, in an uncanny shaken voice.

This took me by surprise. First of all, because the one that calls me most of the time is Amethyst. Second, because Garnet is usually calmed, serene and stoic. Is very strange when she gets agitated or worried. She wasn't fighting, there wasn't the sounds of screams, punches or explosions at the other side of the call.

Garnet was the tallest of the Crystal Gems and the actual leader after Rose's death. She had three eyes, which are usually hidden behind a pair of shades. Her right eye is a medium ruby-red, her left a medium sapphire-blue, while the center third eye is an dark purple color, a mix of the other two. Her Gemstones were embedded in the palms of her hands. Like Ruby, she had a deep violet cube-shaped afro and a magenta skin tone, while her facial features more closely resemble Sapphire's, with a square jaw, and plump lips.

-¿¡Qué!? But why? What's going on? Are you there?- I asked confused.

-No, I'm at Beach City, but you need to go quickly to Korea for Steven and Greg- Garnet said.

-Why Steven and Greg are there? He suddenly became a fan of BTS?- I asked.

-This is no time for jokes! I need you go there and rescue them before... it's too late...- Garnet said raising her voice, something uncommon for her.

-Too late for what?- I said confused and started to get worried -Garnet, you need to tell me what's going on-

Garnet remained silent for some seconds.

-Blue Diamond is in Korea- Garnet said.

This took me by surprise and a great sensation of fear invaded me.
