Chapter 16

Neil was getting discharge today and I was happy. I reached early just so I could pick him up. I reached the hospital room and opened the door. There stood Uncle Dev and Uncle Ray. Uncle Ray was helping Neil to pack his clothes.

I came inside. "Good morning" I greeted. "Good morning Rohit. Thank you so much for taking care of Neil the whole night" Uncle Ray greeted. "Always" I smiled back. "Good morning" Neil smiled. I went over to him and hugged him. I don't care if Uncle Dev is looking and he might kill me. Neil hugged me back. "You okay?" I whispered. "Yes now I am" he held me tightly.

Uncle Dev coughed. We pulled away. "I and Ray will be waiting for you in the car. Let's go Ray" Uncle Dev held Uncle Ray's hand and left. "Am I dreaming or did uncle Dev seriously didn't kill me?" I asked. "No idiot he didn't. He likes you" Neil said while laughing. "Oh that's not true" I pointed. "It is" he pecked my lips. "Let's go" he held my hand. I nodded in agreement.

We were at Uncle Ray and Uncle Dev's penthouse. "Thank you so much Rohit" Uncle Ray thanked me again. "Don't thank me Uncle Ray besides Neil is my boyfriend" I said. "I am happy for you guys" he smiled. "Neil tomorrow we will be living to your Grandma's house" Uncle Dev reminded. Neil nodded in agreement. "Rohit is coming with us" he stated. "Go home and pack your bags brat" Uncle Dev pointed at me. I scoffed.

I stood up and kissed Neil's forehead. "Tired?" I asked. He hummed. "Let's get you to bed" I picked him up and he gasped. "Rohit!" he whispered yelled. "What?" I teased him. "Put me down" he begged. "No, Nope, Nada" I said and started walking.

We reached his room and I laid him on the bed and pulled the quilt over him. "Sleep now" I caressed his cheek. "Will do" he laughed. "Are you going to leave?" he asked. "Yes, I have to pack the luggage. But I am going to stay here until you sleep" I replied. "Okay" he smiled. I nodded in agreement. "I am happy that you are coming with me to..." he mumbled and he was sleeping soundly. I kissed his forehead and left from there.

I reached home. Mom and dad were staying at my penthouse for few days. "Ro baby" Mom hugged me and I hugged her back. "How is Neil?" Dad asked. "He was discharged today and is sleeping soundly" I replied. Dad nodded in agreement. I pulled away from the hug and sat on the couch. Mom sitting beside me and Dad sitting in front of me. "I'll be leaving to Neil's grandparents' house tomorrow" I stated. "Huh? Why?" Dad asked curiously.

"He asked me accompany" I replied. "Okay. I'll help you pack your luggage" Mom chimed. I smiled and simply nodded. Mom left the living room and went towards my room to pack my things. "I know you want to accompany Neil to his grandparents' house but be careful" suddenly dad said. "Huh?" I asked getting curious. "I don't know much but Neil's grandmother, but she is someone you should stay away from. Dev broke connections with them when he was dating Ray. But after few years they were back to normal. I know one thing for sure that Dev only visits his parents for his dad" Dad completed.

I nodded, grasping everything dad just told me. I should be a bit careful. I won't let anyone hurt my Neil. "I'll sleep now. I am tried as hell" I stood up. "Good night Ro" dad smiled. "Good night Dad" I said and left.
