Two weeks later
Rohit Gokhale
Today was the day I was going to get married to the love of my life. I was wearing a white sherwani. Danish was my best man. "Are you nervous?" Danish asked uninterested. "Kind of" I admitted. "The mighty Rohit is nervous" Danish laughed. "Shut up. On the day of your marriage I am going to laugh at you" I snapped. "Ru and I decided to wait till we get married as I am not ready yet. He agreed to wait however I am just..." he sighed. I patted his shoulder. "Don't hurry, do it at your pace Danish. You have went through lot and Ru knows it so don't worry he is not going to leave you" I smiled.
"How...how do you know what I was thinking that?" Danish asked. "You are my friend Danish my best man" I replied. He scoffed in response. "Whatever let's just go" he said and turned around. "Dad I want to marry him and that's final. Bye" Krish talked on phone as he entered the room.
"What happened Krish?" Danish asked. "Dad is not happy that I want to marry Dante" Krish scoffed. "To be honest you hate that guy then why are you doing that?" I asked curiously. "I know but...promise me you won't tell this to anyone" he fiddled with his fingers. "We promise Krish" I and Danish said unison. "I am doing this for the twins. I know they are not mine but...you know" he said. "But-" Danish was about to say something but Krish cuts him off. "No buts I am marrying him and that's final" Krish pointed at us. "Fine" Danish replied and I laughed.
"Let's go son" dad came inside. I nodded. "You look good" he complimented. "I know" I smiled. He hugged me. "I am happy for you. Congratulations on finding your happiness" he patted my back. "Thank you dad" I hugged back. "Let's go" he said and I followed.

I was sitting in the mandap, waiting for Neil. The venue was great. Many people were attending our wedding. Mom and uncle Dev had gone overboard but Uncle Ray and Dad were handling both of them. "The groom is here" Danish whispered in my ears. I looked up and saw Neil walking with his fathers. He was looking beautiful in that white sherwani. We had agreed to match our clothes. "Muh band kar Machar chala jayega" Krish laughed. I closed my mouth, looking at Neil in awe.
He reached mandap and Uncle Dev handed his hand to me. "Take care of him and if you don't I will kill you" he glared. "I will" I said.
The wedding rituals started.

Finally we are husbands. "Congratulations dear husband" I kissed Neil's cheek. "Congratulations to you to 'husband'" he laughed. "Let the party begin" Krish yelled.
We all danced, ate and had fun. Our wedding will be the best thing to happen in my life. Guest had already left, we were ready to leave. I had bought us a house near our parents' house. Neil was happy when I told him that. "You both must be tried" Uncle Ray yawned followed by dad who yawned too. "You both are yawning" Neil laughed. "I was handling your daddy" Uncle Ray sighed. "And I was handling your Mom" Dad sighed too.
"It was amazing wasn't it?" Mom said. "It was but still should have brought a huge place and spend some more" Uncle Dev stated. "You are right. Maybe we can throw a huge party" Mom suggested. "We should" Uncle Dev agreed. "NO!" Dad and Uncle Ray yelled unison. "Here is what we are going to do Dev and that's going home" Uncle Ray glared in Uncle Dev's direction. "Oh...okay" Uncle Dev stuttered. "Malti we are going to go home and..." he whispered the other part in her ear making her blush.
"Papa is right daddy. We are tried and no more party now. You and mom had already thrown around 10 parties before wedding and that's enough. I and Rohit are happy for what you guys did. Thank you so much" Neil smiled.
"Okay we are leaving now. Arthur is going to drop us. Bye" I said and held Neil's hand. We left after bidding our good byes.
