Optimus didn't know what Aizawa put in that water he was given, but he could at least tell it was drugged hard. It wasn't even seconds after he took the first sip before everything spun and his optics offlined.
When he woke up, he was laying on a couch with a blanket over him and a pillow under his helm. Optimus's optics took a few seconds to adjust to the brightness and he was hit with a helmache. Perks of being drugged by your homeroom teacher.
"Ay, he's awake!" Present Mic yelled.
Optimus winced and sat up, looking at the blonde teacher in surprise. "Hi."
"Hey," he gave Optimus a thumbs up. "How ya feelin'?"
"Hung over," Optimus frowned. "Where are we?"
"You are in my fantastic abode!" Present Mic leaned back and kicked up his feet. "Praise your luck kid, cuz you do not want to be in Aizawa's apartment. It is a nightmare."
Aizawa walked calmly into the room, sipping a cup of tea. "Good afternoon, Optimus. Sleep well?"
Optimus nodded.
"GOOD BECAUSE I'M ABOUT TO BEAT YOU!" Aizawa threw the teacup across the room and marched over to Optimus. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"
"Make him have another panic attack, why don't you?" Present Mic waved his hand half-heartedly, but stopped as soon as he saw Aizawa's face. "So... I'll be in the kitchen if you need me."
Optimus looked at the hero, wishing he wouldn't leave him alone with his savage teacher.
Aizawa sat down across from him. "So you're from another planet in another dimension."
Optimus nodded.
"What else?"
"Well," Optimus looked down at his servo. "I didn't look like this until about two months ago. I was more of a... 50 ft autonomous robot who lead half of my planet through a war that lasted a few eons."
Aizawa stared.
Optimus continued. "And Megatron led the other half."
He was taking the news surprisingly well. "So how did you get here?"
"I don't know," Optimus answered truthfully. "I was supposed to die and bring the planet back to full function after we won the war and returned from an exodus on Earth, but before I died, or maybe after, I was transported here in a human body."
Aizawa nodded. "So you've been to Earth before, when you were a giant robot?"
"Yes," Optimus admitted. "But it was a different Earth, where none of the humans had quirks."
"And Megatron?"
"Was supposed to be in self-imposed exile after he was possessed by an evil god," Optimus explained. "I don't know how he arrived or why."
Aizawa pointed at Optimus. "And he gave you those scars?"
Optimus looked down, but of course, he was wearing a shirt. "Most of them."
"And the others?"
"I had other enemies."
Aizawa rubbed the bridge of his nose. "That's a lot to take in."
"I understand," Optimus assured him.
"What about the breathing problem?" Aizawa finally asked.
Optimus looked away in embarrassment. "I just... I'm new to breathing, so sometimes when I focus too much, it gets away from me."
"You didn't breathe before?"
Optimus shook his helm.
"What else?"
