RUSH HOUR
i give a fuck less and less everyday ❞ — go:od am, mac miller

TODAY ABOUT TO, be a good day, at least faith thought so. the group were all going to the waterpark for the day. faith has never been to this waterpark before so she doesn't know what to expect. the group was currently sitting in the car in their assigned seats. matt driving, ofc. chris in the passenger. faith and ella in the back then nick, karla, and izzy in the back back.

chris was on the aux, which faith despises because he plays the worse songs. faith crosses her arms, rolling her eyes "chris come on give me the aux." chris turned around in his seat to look at faith "uh let me think. fine." faith smiled, grabbing the phone pressing on a random song. i love you, im sorry started to play. the car fell silent as they all listened to the lyrics.
two augusts ago, i told the truth, oh, but you didnt like it, you went home.

this song reminded her of what happened before that day. in ninth grade. she didnt want to think of it. it pained her.

thats just the way life goes, i like to slam doors closed. trust me, i know its always been about me. i love you, im sorry.

faith felt eyes on her, and she knew it was matt. she hated how he knew that this song reminded her of them. she hated it. she hated him.

cause thats just the way life goes.

i push my luck, it shows thankful you dont send someone to kill me. i love you, im sorry.

you were the best, but you were the worst. as sick as it sounds i loved you first. i was a dick, it is what it is.

she continued to listen to the song. she felt her eyes watering, faith didnt want to cry. everyone knew she was a strong person. she barely cried. she hated to cry infront of people. nick looked around as everyone looked depressed "okay why did the car become depressing." everyone bursted out in laughter. except matt and ofcourse faith, who was still stuck in her thoughts. staring into the back of chris's seat.

the song ended and chris clicked on a song that was definitely less depressing. unconditionally by katy perry. chris knew faith loved this song. she used to always play it to stop her from crying. faith frown turned into a smile, hearing the song. "chris stop i literally love you" chris looked back at her, wink. she gave him a disgusted face. faith and ella sang their hearts out as the group was pulling up to the water park.
