Several days had passed since Sami and Layla began exploring the secrets of the old book. They spent long hours in the library, immersed in ancient texts, trying to decode the mysterious symbols. Layla had extensive knowledge of the city's history and the legends surrounding it, which greatly helped them progress in their research. Sami began reading the letter aloud: "To whoever finds this letter, know that you have now become part of the Guardians of Shadows. Your mission is to protect the city from evil forces and use the book wisely. Be cautious, for there are those who seek to obtain these powers for evil purposes. Beware of the Revengeful Ghosts."

Sami and Layla felt the weight of the responsibility upon them. The letter explained much about the role they were to play, but it also warned them of the dangers they might face.
