chen jinyang whined on the phone as the three of them had a group call

"oh ,my gosh, jinyang, I'm going deaf"
tong yao complained  while lu y/n chuckled

"what happened then? did you win the solo against cheng? don't tell me you will chicken out, I know lu sicheng probably likes you."she added "he must have lost to you on purpose"

"you think so too?"tong yao added "in the eyes of romance novels and fan's that's true-"

lu y/n then cut her off saying "yao, in the eyes of every normal people, we  think cheng-gege likes you"

chen jinyang smiled "see even chessmans sister agrees"

tong yao sighed then just continued talking "he seems to have lost to me on purpose"she added "but here's the thing.when I was playing against him, I could feel he wasn't going easy on me at all.he really wanted to beat me. maybe I did win because I'm more familiar with the middle lane routes and terrain than him"

"you're pretending."chen jinyang sighed as lu y/n followed "you go on pretending,"then both of them said "we're hanging up"

"no, it's true. and..." she sighed "forget it. I don't know what's going on either"

"I told not to put "flags" so nonchalantly" jinyang advised "like you won't fall in love with a professional player, you always bite your own tongue after saying that kind of thing"

"what about cheng?what did he say?" she asked which sparked lu y/n's curiosity"yea what did brother cheng say??"

"you guys didn't ask him a single question after the solo?"chen jinyang asked as tong yao replied "what should I ask? we're all teammates what if... I made an inappropriate action and got rejected?"she added "how could we play again in the future?"

she added "I didn't even think that much with ai jia at the time"

"we are teammates."tong yao added "compared to things with uncertain results, I'd prefer to play well in the tournament"

"okay"chen jinyang smiled "we're starting to feel sorry for you"

"we didn't expect that our silly girl would actually grow up some day"

lu y/n just laughed at chen jinyang's comment and played along "I'm going to cry"
