but what do you like?

that's what keeps popping into your head,

sure you like them a lot, but its platonic!

"y/n..." someone called you out of the blue as you looked up "I've been calling you a couple of times now, what's occupying your thoughts right now?"yu ming asked

as you awkwardly replied "haha... well... it's nothing"

"anyway ming, I'd like to ask you" you asked ming as you both walked over to the beach with the rest of the squad.

"what is it?"

"whst kind of girls do you like?" you added "what's your type?"

well that was an awkward question to ask for ming, especially when he never dated anyone before and doesn't have a particular type, afterall all his days were being engulfed in a computer screen.

"well, I don't have a particular type but..."he smiled awkwardly "I would like a woman who has an unwavering
heart and could go through challenges with a smile"

"oh,well that's a nice type ming, you'll have no trouble finding one" you smiled and then proceeded to ask everyone what their type was

chubby:"I like to have a girl who eats a lot,"
rui:"responsible?"
cat:"who works out a lot! I'd like to have an exercise date with her!"
yue:"outgoing!!"
cheng:"that's none of your business"
k:"I haven't decided yet"

tongyao:"any guy but lu sicheng, and jian yang,"

well that was very straightforward for tong yao,does that mean she doesn't like to date professional gamers?

you were sitting in the beach chairs(?)

(a/n:guyz help, I don't know what they're called, I've seen them around beaches, but I've never wondered what they're named, like their for sunbathing  idk 🥹 please comment if you know)

when yu ming came and sat in the other one,

"why'd you ask that question?" he asked "the what?"

"the "what's your type" thing "yu ming asked

"ohhh, that? well its just a random question I came up with cus' I'm bored, why do you ask?"
you look at him as he smiled "it's nothing at all, just wondering why"

"oh well, ok, if thats what you say so"
you smile at him then ran towards the group that was playing in the water.

well that was a cute interaction,

ming just looked at the group while smiling,

he hasn't even realized that smiling wasn't because the group was having fun,

but because you were there...

an unwavering heart and could go through challenges with a smile.

that was what he found in you.
he'd seen you through ups and downs in your life when you started to live at the base,

he knew what you were going through,with everything weighed down on you as the future heiress.

you have such an unwavering heart,

with every breath you take,with every smile you show, your way of walking,
the way you talk, your weird fetishes, with every not so funny joke, joke you always joke about,

to him every imperfection and every mistakes you make, were the key to your ultimate perfection.

I haven't been able to write this chapter because of school work and also my almost degrading mental health :))
