THE INSIDER

It was Christmas time at Vought Tower, and the Boys were deep into the holiday spirit. The decorations sparkled, and festive music filled the air. Ryan was filming a commercial for the "Avenue V Live Christmas Special," but something was off. Director Colin Penma, a tall man with a perpetual look of stress, was in charge.

"Cut! Cut!" Colin shouted, sensing Ryan's discomfort. He walked over to the boy, who was fidgeting nervously.

"What's going on, Ryan?" Colin asked gently. "You seemed a bit off there."

Ryan glanced around nervously before looking up at Colin. "I don't understand why we have to...to say those things about our parents," he said quietly.

Colin's brow furrowed. "What do you mean?"

"The lyrics...about throwing our parents under the bus," Ryan explained. "It just feels...wrong."

Colin sighed, realizing the misunderstanding. "Ryan, those lyrics were approved by your dad. He thought it would be fun and edgy."

Ryan's face flushed with embarrassment. "I...I need to go to the bathroom," he mumbled, wanting to escape the uncomfortable situation.

Colin watched him go, feeling a pang of sympathy for the boy. Being the son of a superhero was no easy task, especially when it came to navigating the murky waters of Vought's marketing strategies.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Emily had just visited her son, John. Now, she was on her way to see her grandson, who lit up with joy at the sight of her.

"Grandma!" he exclaimed, running to give her a hug.

"Hey there, champ," Emily said, ruffling his hair. "I've missed you."

Back at Vought Tower, John was in a tense meeting with Firecracker and Sister Sage. The room was dimly lit, adding to the gravity of their discussion.

"Butcher planted a bug at Tek Knight's place," John said, his voice low. "He might have gotten all the intel we need."

Firecracker leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look on his face. "And Tek Knight? Did he...?"

"We think Butcher killed him," John confirmed, his expression grim.

Sister Sage shook her head. "We can't do anything rash," she said firmly. "It would jeopardize everything. Our plan is to take out Neuman once and for all, and we can't afford any slip-ups."

John nodded, understanding the stakes. "You're right. We stick to the plan."

The room fell silent, the weight of their mission pressing down on them. The fate of their world rested on a knife's edge, and any wrong move could lead to disaster.

In a dimly lit conference room at Vought Tower, the atmosphere was thick with tension. John, better known as Homelander, stood at the head of the table, his piercing eyes scanning the faces of Firecracker and Sister Sage. The stakes of their clandestine meeting were high, and the topic of discussion was deadly serious.

"We should just kill Butcher and his entire crew," Homelander proposed, his voice icy and determined. "End this once and for all."

Firecracker nodded, a spark of agreement in her eyes. "It's not a bad idea, John. Taking them out would solve a lot of our problems."

Sister Sage, however, remained unimpressed. "It's pointless," she countered, her tone calm but firm. "Butcher will be dead in a few months anyway. There's no need to declare war on the CIA. It would only complicate things."
