LITTLE THINGS
03. Schools out! (say it loud)

It had been about 8 months since Georgie went missing and there was no sign of him coming back or that he was even alive at all.

Lillian had excepted that he wasn't coming back, the survivors guilt didn't go away though, especially with her parents coldness towards her since. They blame her, but at least Bill didn't.

The final bell of the school year rang, although she didn't hear it, she wasn't paying attention to anything really, just zoned out.

Well, that was until a girl she didn't recognize tapped the desk in front of her to get her attention,
Which snapped her out of the trance she was in.

"Hi there! Uh the bell just rung and I didn't know if you heard it so, just letting ya know, have a nice summer!" She said before walking out of the room and turning to down hall. The thing that stuck out about her to Lillian? The strong southern accent in the girls voice.

She got up and went to find her best friend, well the girl best friend she had, Mike was homeschooled, she didn't see him in school.

"Hey Lills" a girl called from behind her which scared her shitless, and she jumped slightly, she turned around and saw it was who she was looking for, Mia.

"Relax Lills, I don't bite. Well unless I need to." She joked, putting her hands up in fake surrender. Lilly smiled before she followed her out of the school. They were walking down the front lawn when all of a sudden Mia's face turned annoyed.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." She said before grabbing Lillian's arm and dragging her along, of course it wasn't tight enough to hurt her.
She let go of Lilly's arm before she snatched something out of a boys hand.

"What the hell Bowers!?" A tall lanky boy with black hair said irritated she stopped his 'fun', which consisted of them picking on the same group of kids.

"Patrick I'm not gonna let you just pick on them cause you can. Do you not have literally anything better to do." She said annoyed at her brothers friends who were all picking on someone.

"You're acting like me taking this kids little Frisbee is gonna kill him Mia, you're such a killjoy." He complained, still annoyed.

"It's not a frisbee, it's a kippah you moron." She replied, holding the urge to smack him and make his last brain cell he has left fail, and handing the kippah back to the boy it belonged to, which was Stanley Uris.

"Aww you protecting your little boyfriend?" He teased poking her in the forehead. She gave him a dirty look.

"I don't need to be dating him to have respect for people Patrick, clearly you don't know what that is, well you don't know what a lot of shit is. You're a bit slow in the head." She said as she got a nasty look from the lanky ass boy.
