Mine? || Lando Norris

Back in the UK everything went back to normal life. I went on a lot of walks with June and visited my family as much as I could. We even spent a day with Adam and Cisca in Bristol so they got to know June better and June them.

June also made a few big jumps in her development such as crawling really fast, which is cool, yes, but sometimes I have to RUN after her so she doesn't do things she's not supposed to because, and that's the second thing, she is now able to pull herself up on coffee tables, cupboards and basically everything else she can reach. The combination of those two developments was very exhausting for me especially when Im alone with her. She tries to get anything she can grab and it doesn't matter what it is.
Other than that I was very proud of her for being able to do that.

I played with June 'mummy builds a tower and June destroys it, then almost chokes from laughter' when Lando face timed.
"Hello beautiful. Oh wow why is she laughing so hard." Were his first words as his face appeared on my screen, hair a bit messy and he looked like he just woke up from a nap or something. We both smiled from ear to ear immediately.

"We're just playing this game and she finds it absolutely hilarious. Every time she starts laughing like this I'm ready to save her life in case she chokes. Look at her" I turned my phone so he could see her sitting in front of my not so towery tower, laughing.

He waited a few moments for her to stop laughing before he said hello, properly.
"I miss you two so much and it's only been a week and a half. That's so crazy."
"I know right? And I don't want you to miss the next steps June makes. She's standing with support already so I don't think she's far from walking. Give her a month or two and she's unstoppable." I explained.

"What? Wait a moment." Lando's expression changed. "She's standing with support? Show me, show me." He said excitedly.
"Well I can't force her you know. I could put something on the coffee table that makes her stand up tho, wait a second." I smiled because of Lando's excitement while I put my phone on the table.

From the second Lando called, June searched him in the room so when I put my phone on the coffee table she went to see if his voice is coming from there.
"Call her." I said to Lando who looked at me a little confused.
"June bear? Can you hear me?" He called.

Junes head shot up because she understood her assignment. The next second she looked over the edge of the table to my phone.
"There you are. Look at you go. That's mint honestly." He cooed when he saw her.

I tried being fast enough to take my phone before June could but these hands are still so fucking fast. Faster than I could react she reached for my phone, holding it directly in her face.
"That's a bit near to your face innit?" I could hear Lando say muffled through Junes hands.

I took my phone from her and just like I expected she wasn't happy about it.
"Alright alright no need to cry, daddy is still on the phone June." I sat her on my lap so we both could look at my screen. Lando just laughed at us. "Don't laugh. It's not funny. Ouch. June please don't pull my hair. Okay fine take daddy."
I argued alone and ended up giving her my phone to see her daddy.

A week later
"Please pick up, please pick up...come oooon."
I whispered while I waited for Lando to pick up the call. When my phone finally said 'connecting' I started to smile excitedly because we haven't spoken in a few days.

"Hey is everything okay? I'm in a meeting right no-" he started in a whisper but I interrupted him immediately.
"Sssshhh look at that." He went quiet and waited for me to do something so I turned my camera for him to see June. She stood at the coffee table in the living room but that wasn't the exciting thing.

"Oh my god she walks? It's with support but still, she's walking?" Now he was smiling excitedly too as he whisper screamed back at me.
"Yes! Isn't that awesome? It only happened once yesterday but it was too short to film it or call you, I'm sorry."
"No it's fine really. I'm so happy to see her growing up like that and as much as I hate it but I need to go back inside. I'll call you later."
I couldn't even answer before he hung up in a hurry.
